Chapter 47

Alex POV

We walked around the back to receive the rented car as Louis still tried to walk away from us and explore.

That idiot.

Liam right now was telling him how it was bad to wonder off. He sounds like a dad and Louis acts like a 4 year old. Well this is going to be fun. Harry was discussing with the airport dude about all those boring rules and stuff, I was watching Niall try to dance where he thought no one could see him. Zayn.... I don't exactly know what Zayn is doing..

Yeah so far it has been very weird.

"Come on you guys were leaving!" Harry yelled across the lot. Everyone started running to car like it depended on their lives...... well shotgun was important and everyone knows that!

"SHOTGUN!!!!" I screeched since I was behind everyone.

Louis turned around and gave me death eyes, and right at that moment Niall tripped and fell on his face.

You should have seen it! It was freaking historical! I held my stomach and tried walking to the car laughing my ass off. Niall was cussing under his breath witch made us laugh even more.

Well this might not be so bad after all.

Harry POV

Damn. The Hotel was HUGE!! And I am not joking! It was like a hundred fucking stories! So glad they invented elevators...

"Harry! you coming?" Alex yelled over to me. I nodded my head and followed behind the others just taking in the scene.

We finally settled in when I got a phone call. The caller ID made me freeze in my spot..

No.. this cant be happening right now.

I left the room and slid my phone on answer.

"Where have you been Styles!" I voice boomed over the phone as I winced.

Alex POV

Something was up... I could tell by the way Harry had stiffened when his phone rang.. I started to get up until someone stopped me.

"Alex, you shouldn't." Liam said looking at me. I shook my head at him as I continued to the room.

"Yeah.. yeah I know!" Harry said into the phone.

"STYLES I NEED THE MONEY!" I voice screamed. It wasn't on speaker and I could still hear it.

"Yeah I'm getting there! Just give me time!" He said back.

I have a really bad feeling about this...

"You still owe about 3 grand still." The voice yelled again. This time Harry hung up, throwing his phone across the room. The floor underneath me creaked and Harry's head shot up.

"Alex wh-" He started to say but I cut him off.

"What was that phone call about?" I whispered, praying that isn't what I thought.

"Alex its not what it looks like!" He tried to lie.

"WHAT WAS IT ABOUT!" I screamed at him. Harry looked like a dear caught in headlights.

"It was uhm...." He said but stopped.

"Spit it out!" I yelled at him.

"It was about.......My job." HE whispered.

"What job?" I whispered back. But I knew what it was right after I said it.

I put my hand up to my mouth with shock and backed up.

"No, Alex!" He whispered coming towards me.

"No. I'm done giving in. I'm done being sweet about problems! That girl is gone" I said backing up more. He reached his handout trying to hold me.

"NO! Don't touch me!" I spat at him. Hurt flashed in his eyes as he retreated his hand.

All I could think about was running.

As far away as possible.

And that is exactly what I did.

I could here all the boys calling after me as I ran down the long corridor. I didn't look back though. I just kept going. And going. And going......

Until I ran into someone unexpected..... I looked up and saw those same, friendly, and familiar eyes.

"Luke?!?!"
