You stood in front of the large building ahead of you. You gasped in realization of how big school must be compared to the one back home. The sign read John Quincy Middle School and of course your last month of Middle School would be your hardest as it meant starting all over again meanwhile sitting at lunch alone.
You walked through The doors. School seems huge, and not like you'd see it anywhere else. This school could fit your old one twice with no problems. Hell! It could fit one more half in.
You continued a little way forward as you found a door stating OFFICE in which you went over to and rushed through smiling at what might have been the secretaries, "Mrs,..." you stated as you quickly read her desk tag "Ah Mrs.Marowlin, I'm Y/L/N comma Y/N, I'm new here and said to come here to get my schedule.." you bit your lip nervously as she nodded looking slightly amused with your line up of classes after she'd typed in your name.
"All I have to say" her voice thick with a New York accent "Have fun with your classes, and try to raise your hand in these. Some of these kids are too quiet." She smiled and sent you on your way.
Twist and turns of halls confused you for a few minutes as you tried to find your first class, Rm#203 Mr.Matthews, Corey. Hm, weird having History at the first part of your day but you didn't want to change a thing. You quite enjoyed this subject, and no bragging needed but A's were practically a minimum for you in History. You enjoyed learning about the world came together even in some parts of the world weren't in the greatest of conditions.
The volume was loud behind the door of 203, resembling of course this had to have been the right class. You took a deep breath mumbling quietly to yourself "Just give me all you got, go in there and don't let the staring control your character" you smile and opened the door slowly. Heads instantly turned toward you and a girl with long brown hair and brown eyes smiled and rose her hands as she matched eyes with the teacher you presumed 'Matthews's'.
She spoke so excitedly "Who's this?"
Mr.Matthews "Are you the new student?" You nodded slowly "Ah! Will you introduce yourself?" You nodded once again and cleared your throat.
"Hi I'm Y/N, I'm from (your home town) and I'm happy to be here" you smiled and did a slight curtsy.
The girl from earlier stood up and almost instantly was at your metaphorical door step. She extended a hand with a bright smile she had seemingly never lost "Hi! I'm Riley, I would like to be your friend. I'm assuring you the warmest friendships of all". You nodded slowly and mumbled an 'Okay'. She pulled you into a hug and so you hugged her back till another set of voices rose.
"Hey Ry we didn't talk about this" another girl voice said sternly.
"Mya!" A strong southern accent improvised, yelling presumably the last voice.
Then there was a gentle soft slightly deep voice "Rylie may I?" He had tapped on her shoulder and there he was. He was so adorable as a nice thing to say but of course you couldn't be too quick to judge could you. Could he sweep you off your feet that fast? Huh. Who would have ever thought and now his name you needed and fast so you could match up the lines.
