A high pitched whine filled the room as Becky shot up in her bed, frantically looking around and realizing where she was.
She clumsy reached to turn on the lamp on the bedside table, but to her haze, knocked it over. And it hit the floor with a clang, forcing her To sit in the dark until her eyes adjusted.
The only light available was the little amount of moonlight that came from the small window.
She curled up in her bed and shivered. Even though she knew that all of the guys were looking out for her at all times, it still didn't hide the fact that she felt miserable alone at night. She thought that it would be certainly better after the first week, but it was just worse. The nights grew more sleepless now, and Donnie and Alyssa stopped giving her sleeping aids so she won't be hooked on them.
But that helped the bad nightmares and she didn't wake up every night around the same time in the morning.
As her eyes adjusted to the dark, she began to cry. She felt so cold... So alone... Yet something in her head clicked.
"What am I doing here? In my dark bedroom when the guys are right next door?!" Hell, they each offered if she wanted them to stay with her as she slept! They knew that it wouldn't be a good idea for her to be alone, but she insisted that it would be better.
She threw the covers over the side of the bed and got up and walked to the window, looking at the brightness of the street lamps shinning down on the sidewalks.
She made up her mind. She carefully walked out of her room and slowly walked to Leo's room.
Leo awoke to the sound of soft knocks on his door. After gaining his composure, he sat up and walked to the door, opening it slowly making it creak loudly.
He saw Becky, tears pricking her eyes and looking overall like she'd had a rough night so far.
Several seconds passed without a word between the two before Becky finally tried to break the silence.
"....Bad...... Dreeeeeeeam...."
Leo nodded as he opened his door wide enough for her to step in.
