Two years later; Illuminate Tour

"How are you?" She hugged her arms around my torso, the odds of her letting go seeming slim.

"I'm great. And you?" He smiled widely, the face of this girl being too unfamiliar. He'd forgotten. "I must ask, what's your name?"

"Lizbeth." She simply replied, all the fights and good nights coming back to him. He kept a smile on, but nothing was going on in his head.

He blanked for a minute or two, a fool being made of himself. He stumbled upon his thoughts as he only shook his head.

"I'm sorry, um, I'll be right back." His face fell into a somber expression, he watched his feet as he went over to Hailee, who was backstage and unaware of Lizbeth's presence.

"She's here. Hails, she's actually here."
He caught his breath, Hailee enveloped him into a hug to calm his tensed body. "What should I do?"

"Do whatever." She advised, "whatever happens, happens."

"Okay." He hummed in her hair. He went back to Lizbeth to find her on her phone, waiting.

"I'm back. Just needed a breather. So your names Lizbeth?"

"Yeah."

"I forgive you." He hugged her, Lizbeth stood in place, confused. She had no idea of what Shawn was talking about.

"It's me, Shawn; mellowmayer?Excepshawnal? Do you not remember the younow? Or the 'I love yous' I used to send you?" He tried to get this girl to remember. But the problem is, this Lizbeth wasn't the Lizbeth he'd been talking to before.

The girl he'd actually been talking to was a catfish. She was a girl who put Shawn through hell, and didn't care. She was the girl Shawn thought about every night before bed. Turns out that he'd been thinking about the wrong person.

He thought he loved this girl, the girl standing before him; Lizbeth, the girl he'd rated to be an eight out of ten, the girl he'd thought he told 'I love you' to, the girl he cried over.

"Um? I'm gonna go now.." the girl who had no idea, slowly stepped away from Shawn Mendes, the singer who got attached too easily.

He apologised to the line of people waiting to meet him, "sorry guys." He rubbed his temple, "just having a moment."
