Tilda Chapter 4

      Once I got home it was 10 minutes to 5 o'clock. I couldn't get over the fact that Michael was tried to help me by warning me. Wasn't he in the gang, but then again I don't think they was a gang it was just a group of guys acting like jack asses. I shouldn't worry about it anyway.

When I was about to go to my room I saw a message on the phone and I was pretty sure who it was.

           "Hey sweetie, I'm coming home late today. It's not a all-nighters like last time, but I will be home around 9:00pm. ok bye."

I knew it was mom and it looks like I'm cooking tonight. Since mom not coming home until late I can take a nap. I just need some ice for my side and I had to make sure to have my phone next to me. But right when I lay my head on the pillow the phone rings and it was no other then Nick to be calling me now.

           "Hello," Nick said

           "Hello Nick, what's going on." I said lying on my back on the bed sounding tired.

           "I'm doing good how your side doing." he said

           "It's sore still, but I live. I just put some ice on it." I said

           "You sound tired Tilda do you won't me to call you later or just talk to you tomorrow at school." he said and even though he was right about me sounding tired. I still needed to talk to him.

           "No, I'm fine we need to talk about what happen at school." I said

           "Oh well I must say Tilda you are a good kisser. What you think about me?" he said sounding happy.

           "Um you are a good kisser too, but I don't won't you to get the wrong idea about me Nick. I didn't feel anything when I kissed you. Well I don't like you that way is what I meant." I said

           "I know what you meant Tilda and don't worry I didn't feel anything either, but to me it looked like you was in to It." he said

           "Well yeah, but that's not the point it felt weird. I mean we been friends for a long time and you've never did anything like that to me. Why now?" I said

           "It was the heat of the moment and I just went for It." he said. I'm thinking to myself that he was right, but at the sometime I felt like he must be holding back on something and I think this way with almost everyone. Sometime I can be wrong, but I mean this is the some guy that always has someone that he's involved with. That's when I realized something and I knew I was going to be pissed off once I get the answer to my next question.

           "Nick, are you in a relationship with someone right now?" I said

           "Well, you see I am in one, but she don't have to know." he said losing that happy voice of his.

           "Nick, you do know you could have told me this a little sooner here. What kind of girl do you take me for Nick? You had a girlfriend and still kiss me you are no different from all the other guys at school you just a player." I said

           "Now wait a minute hear me out Tilda.." he was about to talk but I stop him by hanging up on him. I felt used, but then again I used him in a way. I could have said no that's if I wanted him to stop. I'm just mad at the fact that he didn't even care that he cheated on his girlfriend and I knew something was wrong. I just thought he was one of the good guys, but I have to remember that everyone have a down fall. Well I guess I can forgive and forget, but for now I just need to rest on it and maybe I feel better tomorrow. Besides the whole Michael warning me thing still a little confessing. I mean why be friends with a man like Tra in the first place and not acted like him. I guess there's more to know about Michael then I thought, but for now I'm going to see how things go maybe things will make more sense tomorrow.

      I got up this morning with my side feeling better then yesterday. When I hanged up on Nick last night he just kept calling my cell so after he called about 3 times I just had to turn my phone off. Then I forgot that my cell phone had my alarm set to wake me up. Since I turned it off I had no idea what time it was. When I grab my phone to turn it on to see the time it was already 7:35am. I have only 25 minutes to wash up, get dress, grab something to eat and head out the door for school. By the time I got finish with everything 20 minutes have passed and I still got to walk to school I knew that I was going to miss 2 period most likely.

      I wasn't that far from school the only problem was that three girls walks right in front of me to stop me from walking to the school building. From the looks of it they looked like they was pissed off with me, but I don't know them at all. I didn't try to walk pass them i just stood my ground getting ready for anything.

           "Was you the bitch that was making out with my boyfriend." one of the girls said to me looking like she wanted to beat me down and the some go for the other two girls. The first thing that come to mind was this must be Nick's girlfriend Ava and the second thing was that i have to fight again, but maybe this time I have more of a chance of winning since theirs three of them. Maybe I can talk them out of fighting me, but just in case I'm going to sit my backpack down slowly.

           "You must be Nick's girlfriend I'm guessing and I know you pissed off with me, but he made the first move on me. I didn't even...." I said right before Ava punched me on my jaw. it wasn't hard to the point that she send me to the ground, but that shit hurt and I just had to reacted on it by punching back.

           "Wrong move to make bitch." Ava said and before you knew it I had the other two girls on me, so I knew right then in there that talking things out was out of the question.

      Both of the girls had a hold of my hair and tried to take hold of my arms, but I was moving too much for them. Once I saw Ava walking forward to give me another hit I kicked her in the gut making her go backwards. That's when one of the girls knee me on my bad side, but I grabbed her knee before she can put it back down, so she can lose her balance. When I had two girls down for the short time I started working on the girl that still have a hold of my hair, so i elbow her in the face and knee her in the gut making her down for the count. When I turn back around to see if the girls got back up and they ran into me sending me to the ground. I cover my face from all the punching they was giving me, but i was able to grab Ava leg and pull her down on the floor. i quickly got on top to Ava and started punching her as the other girl was trying to choke me from the behind. I punched Ava so many time that she wasn't going to do anything, so I got off of her and pull the other girl that was on me off.

           When I was finish I stand back up and that was a hard thing to do cause of my side hurting again. Slowly I saw the other two girls get up and I got ready to fight again that's when I heard Ava speak.

           "Come on, let's get out of here." Ava said trying to stand up and the girls went over to help her, but right before she was about to leave I had to say something.

           "Oh and for the record your man made the move on me and if I knew he had a girlfriend I wouldn't have let it happen." I said looking at her with nothing but angrier on her face.

           "Whatever bitch, you better which your back cause this isn't over yet." Ava said as they all was walking away from me.

          "You'll damn right this isn't over." I said more to myself as I watch them walk away i wanted to make sure that they was gone. As soon as I knew that they left I was able to relax and that's when I put my hand on my side, then grab my backpack so that I can walked home. I didn't see the point on going to school looking beat down again.
