Winford Hospital 2015
"And that is it," Louise Harp said, taking the needle out of Kate's arm and applying a plaster quickly to the bleeding cut. Kate was at a routine check with her parent, Gillian and Matthew. Louise took the blood sample and put it on the tray. She labelled it 'Kate Ray' and sent it for checking. Something she does hundreds of times every day would change her life for ever....

Dr. Harp looked at the results of Kate's blood test. All the levels were good a little too good. Had Gillian not been seriously ill when she was pregnant? That would affect her blood levels even 12 years later. Louise looked at Kate's blood type. It was O positive; her red parents were both AB. Kate was not Gillian and Matthews child.

"Mrs Ray is Kate adopted, your blood is not the same," Louise asked cautiously. "No she is my daughter," Gillian cried shaking with worry. "Well I'm sorry to say that your baby could have been swapped with another I will look into it, I promise,". Louise assured the crying parents.

" Lou I have found four girls born the same day as Kate who could have been swapped," Louise's friend and colleague Luke muttered, careful other employees wouldn't hear. " Thanks Luke, but don't call me Lou!" Louise shouted angrily. They were good friends and always teased each other. Louise looked at the four girls:
Elia Sharpes- 12th may 2004 Born with no hand
Sophie Ashworth- 12th  may  2004
Eliza Madden- 12th 2004 died minutes after birth
Maya White- 12th May 2004

Louise immediately ruled out Elia - it would be obvious if Kate had no hand- and Eliza - she was dead so Kate would be dead- and concentrate on the remaining two girls. On further investigation, Louise realised that Sophie had a large birthmark on her neck from birth. She found her school photo in her file. The birthmark was still there- Maya must have been swapped with Kate.  Nervous, Kate clicked on Maya's file. She had had an average medical life. Her birth record was clear; it said she had a birthmark on her arm. Louise remembers taking Kate's blood. There had been a mark that she presumed was a scar. Flicking through her file, Louise noticed something weird: there had been no update for 8 years. She went on the Internet and typed 'Maya White' in.

Young girl taken from theme park
Four year old Maya White was taken from Winford Park by an unknown male on the 8th October 2008. To this day police still don't know what happened to her.

Louise lay in bed wondering what to do next. She was becoming frantic and had triple checked the door was locked. Shaking, Louise grabbed her phone from her desk and flicked through her contacts. She found the man she was she was looking for: her uncle Julien Baptiste. "Hi Uncle Julien, I know you are retired now but I need your opinion on a case," Louise asked him nervously. It was nice to hear his sweet voice again. She never saw him anymore as he lives in France. Louise's mother and Julien were half- siblings and had spent many years in France together before she came to England with her mama. "Young Louisa, so nice to see you, I'm actually coming to England soon for a few months recovering but with no case to solve, I will get really bored!"  Julien laughed joyfully. Louise smiled. "Well I think I can help you with that!" .

Frank Dodson sighed. It was nearly 2 o clock and they were only half way through removing and clearing the rubble of the old house they had demolished. He was 42 and wanted to get home. He sat in his digger and carried on scooping pup the dirt. He suddenly looked down at the ditch. He stopped the digger and climbed out. His workmates stopped and asked him why he had stopped. Frank went to the edge of the ditch. There lay a intact skeleton of a young girl.

Winford Airport
"Uncle Julien! Aunt Celia!" Louise cheered joyfully, taking her aunt's bag and smiling. She called a cab and got in helping Mr and Mrs Babtsiste. "You will like it in my guest room it's comfy and warm," Louise assured them excitedly
"Better than my room and bigger,". They arrived at her semi-detached house soon after 12 o clock. Louise was round of her house and had saved up for years; her job as a doctor payed well but she wanted to do more in life. Louise was fast approaching 30 and worried that she would not be able to do the things she wanted to like have children and marry. That's why she wanted to solve this case and get recognition. Louise unlocked the door and went in. Her adorable dog Stanley the Labrador greeted her eagerly; she led Julien and Celia to her guest room. It was very pleasant room: sky blue curtains, silky blankets rest on the bed, sheepskin rugs line the floor, shelves decorated with pretty ornaments and plump cushions on the large bed. Leaving Celia to unpack their belongings in the oak chest of drawers, Julien Babstiste and Louise walked into the kitchen where Louise had laid out the case. "Looking from what You have this case is 'ètrage et dur' as we say in France. Tomorrow we should go to Maya white's detective and see if we can get the case reopened. But we need DNA evidence to prove that Maya is Kate,"Julien informed Louise wisely. They scanned through articles and reports on Maya's disappearance for hours. Louise was worried that Maya was not Kate. What would people think if they wrongly accused someone. She fell in bed wearily; her eyes felt like weightS and she was soon  in a deep, deep sleep. Her dreams were filled of her childhood and all of her uncles cases: Sophie Giroux, Alice Webster and  Oliver Hughes. She knew the next days, weeks, and even months would be difficult- but she was so exited.
