*marks pov*
I was at home scrolling through insta and I was on y/n's profile and I couldnt help but admire her. She was my queen and I would do anything for her but I came across a photo that kind of shook my heart. It was her and alex(my best freind). There was no caption so I had to asume things. Guess what was going on but I had to think gard. All I thought was she doesnt want me anymore. I had to call her.
*your pov*
"where are you y/n?" mark whispered into the phone taking deep breathes.
"I'm with a few friends" you said enthusiastically.
"I need you to come home now" this time you could hear a tear coming down his face.
"why?" you said concerned and started to frown.
"..." he didn't say and thing.
"Ok..ill be there in a few minutes.
You heard a little whimper on the other side of the phone.
"Girls I got to go"you said urgently.
"But we just got to the mall" said your best freind emily.
"I think there is something wrong with mark" you whispered to emily.
She was the kind of person who would always be there for you.
"Its fine ill cover for you"she whispered back.
"Thanks" and you left the mall and got into the car. Your mind couldn't help but think about all the things that could be wrong with mark.
At first you thought that there was a serial killer on the loose that has mark as hostage. But why would he call me. Its not like you can save him from a serial killer.
Then you stopped at his house. While you were walking to his door you rethought and said"ok lets calm down its just mark and hes a lovely guy"
You knocked on his door. You could hear footsteps on the other side of the door. All you can hear is marks voice.
The door swung open and you saw mark, but he wasnt as perfect as usual. He had re The d eyes and was gritting his teeth. Was he angry?
"Are you angry?" You asked confused. "Do I look angry y/n" he said breathing heavily.
" I...yea..I don't know"
"Alex?" He asked on the verge of tears.
"what?"you said trying to lift the mood.
"Hes your new boyfriend apparently."
"What?" You said puzzled
"Dont act innocent! " he said pinning you to the wall.
"No what?..are you saying im cheating on you" you snapped back.
You've never seen this side of mark before. He was normally the best but now he was accusing you of cheating on him. It didnt make sense to you. You glared past his angry face and saw the cute mark you were laughing with on dates. So you calmed down and tried to make the situation better.
You brushed your hand against his face and whispered "I couldn't cheat on you.. he's you best freind".
You hugged him and he said with a tear running down his face"im sorry"
