New Start

Winter Break

RING, RING. I looked at the clock and smiled. It was finally winter break! Meaning no more school, meaning sleep in in late. I gathered my books and walked out of school. I started my walk and noticed that my mom was home today. I rushed in and noticed the tears that were streaming down her face. I rushed to her and hugged her.

"Whats wrong?!" I asked in a small voice.

"Your grandmother  needs help but I cant quite my job and help her and I just feel so!!" She released all her feelings.

"Its okay. How about I go and stay with her?" I asked her.

"What about school, are you fine with going to school over there?" She looked up at me. Its not like I had any friends here plus maybe a fresh new start is what I need. And grandma really needs help around the house and mom is always traveling and in always left her alone cause of school and if I stay with grandma mom wont have to worry about me being safe or not.

"SELENA!!" I looked at my mom, she had a worried expression. I must of blanked out.

"Yes ill do it!" I smiled a reassuring smile and she nodded.

"Ill go and call her and you pack." I watched as she wiped her tears.I walked up stairs and started packing. I packed some pictures, all my close and shoes. My products and all that junk. I changed into a white shirt that was had some thick black lines across it, I wore plain black jeans and decided on curling my hair(image on top) I walked downstairs and looked at my house one last time. To be honest I was glad I got a new start and I knew mom was happy about that too because I have 2 other cousins that could also take care of my grandma. But I pushed that thought away from my mind and grabbed my stuff. I placed it in the trunk and sat in the car. I watched the houses pass by and fell asleep.

I woke to my mom shaking me awake. I looked at my grandmas house and it was huge. I said goodbye to my mom and told her I knew that ahe just needed me to stay here because of work. She apologized and kissed me goodbye. I watched her car disappear and readied my self to walk in. I knocked on the door and to see it was opened. I walked in to find 4 more bags on the floor. I placed my bags on the floor and wandered in. There was noise coming from what I think was the kitchen. I looked around to see my grandmother and 2 other girls. "Nona?" I choked out looking at my grandmother. I always called her Nona sense I couldnt pronounce grandma ot grandmother. She rushed to hug me "Selena." I smiled at her and looked at the girls.

"Hi im Demi Lovato." The girl with brown hair and brown eyes said.

"And im Taylor Swift." The blue eyed blonde smiled at me.

"Well it nice to meet you all im Selena Gomez." I smiled at both of them. Then I looked at Nona, "These are your cousins! You guys can catch up later but for now everyone go find there room, it has your name on it. If you dont like them you can trade with each other." She said while having her back to us. I nodded even though I k we she couldnt heat me anf grabbed my bags and headed up stairs. I looked at my door and saw my name was on there in green letters. I walked in and saw my walls were green but not a sick looking green but a soft type of green. I looked around the room and instantly fell in love with it. I had a king sized bed in the middle of the room and a work table right by the window. Across the walls there were square shaped b ookshelfs that were going up. There was a fuzzy rug right in front of 2 small couches thay were right across from my bed. U also notice the small table that were seperating the couches. I looked and there were shelves against the wall. I walked out of my room and to the right was Demi's room. It was black and red and it had an energetic feeling to it. She didnt notice me cause she had music on fill blast and was unpacking I smiled and walked to Taylor's room which was left to my room. Her walls were a lipstick red to be honest they looked pretty cool. She was also unpacking her things. I walked back to my room and decide to un pack to. I placed all my close in the walk in closet. The bathroom was pretty big I walked in to find a rack that was perfect fot my make up, nail polish, hair supplies. I filled uo each and every rack making sure all my suitcases were empty I placed them under my bed and took out my second suitcase. It had some books, family pictures, my electronics etc... I placed them all on the shelve and was finally done unpacking everything. Looked around my room and walked toward the window. I didnt have the best view all I could see is someone else's window. Byt that dosnt matter I got a really good room and I should be thankful. I nodded to myself and walked down stairs, Taylor and Demi were already down stairs eating cupcakes. Wait a moment there eating CUPCAKES! I rushed towards them and grabbed onw taking a bite immediately, it was so good. I heard someone laugh and looked at Taylor and Demi they were both laughing at me. I pouted at then and grabbed another one. "Girls dont spoil your dinner Selena put the cupcake down." I instantly obeyed still pouting. "Time for dinner, help set up the table please." We all nodded, I grabbed the plates, Taylor grabbed the cups, and Demi places down the spoons and napkins. I sat down and waited for my food. I love food!!!! Nona placed down salad, chicken,and some rolls. I instantly looked at the chicken and Nona laughed even she knew that I love her chicken. She gave us a portion if everything. I Waite for to sit and have the first bite as soon as she took a bite of her salad I grabbed my spoon and begun. I ate the salad first, I personally dont like salads but if I get it over with then I can enjoy the taste of the chicken.  I begun eating the chicken and roll I was finally done! I moaned as the flavor of the chicken still late on my tastebuds. I helped pick up the dishes and Taylor and Demi washed.

"Girls now you can have some cupcakes but im going off to bed." She kissed all of our cheeks and went to bed.

"Im tired to in going off to bed." I said out loud grabbing a cupcake and eating it on the way upstairs. I finished and lasted in bed. Today has been a good day. Hopefully tommorow is the same. I closed my eyes letting sleep take over.
