Long ago, two races ruled over the earth, HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day war broke out between the two races. The HUMANS were victorious and sealed away the monsters in the underground.
Legends say whoever falls in the barrier never returns. One day a human child fell down, their name is Frisk. Frisk fell onto a golden flower path right after that long fall. Yet, just felt fine and continued through the door. Then... "met" a golden flower.
"*Howdy! I'm Flowey, Flowey the flower." Frisk had no idea what to do, she they just played along. Then, Flowey continued, "*hmm... You're new to the underground, arent'cha? Golly, you must be so confused! Somebody has ought to teach you how things are done around here! Now, do you see that heart? That's you're soul, the very culmination of your own being! You're soul starts off weak, but can grow BIG if you gain lots of LV. What's LV stand for? Why... LOVE of course! You want love, don't you? Down here love is shared through, little white... "friendliness pellets." Move around, get as many as you can!" Flowey ended. "Okay!" Frisk exclaimed. "OW!" Then Flowey said:
"YOU IDIOT, IN THIS WORLD ITS KILL OR BE KILLED. WHY WOULD ANYBODY PASS UP AN OPPORTUNITY LIKE THIS? *more bullets appear* DIE." Flowey ended laughing harmfully, and then, a flaming ball flew at the flower.
A goat-like monster appeared! "Do not be afraid, my child. I am Toriel caretaker of the ruins. I am in this place all the time to see if anybody has fallen down. You are the first human in a long time. Come with me, I will guide you through these catacombs." Frisk decided to follow along. Toriel showed frisk around and how to do the puzzles, and even gave Frisk a room! Then, the came to a house.
Toriel then said: "This is my home, little one. Come inside with me, please." Frisk entered while Toriel continued with "Do you smell that? I baked you a pie!" Toriel finished. Then she quickly went to get it out of the oven. Toriel came back and showed Frisk their room.
Frisk fell asleep and then woke up to... Pie! Frisk took the pie and went off. Frisk came to Toriel and asked "Can I go home?" Toriel then said, "Don't come, I'm doing something important." Frisk being nosy came anyway. They came to a door after a long hallway. Toriel was there. "I am going to destroy this door, please go back to your room."
Frisk just denied. Toriel got mad and said: "Fight me or run away!" Frisk just denied and kept SPARING Toriel, which the fight quickly came to an end. Frisk went through the door meeting an old "friend."
"You think you're so special, don't you? YOU SPARED THE LIFE OF A SINGLE PERSON. What would you do if you meant a RELENTLESS KILLER? You would die, die, over an over again! Until you give up on this world! Why do you even try to win? You can just give up on this world, and leave us all down here, or you can just keep trying, and eventually WIN." Flowey ended and went away in the ground. Frisk walked through a longer hallway leading to a door.
