Chapter 8: Random

Author's P.O.V

Stella! Liana screams and frowns, Stella equally frowns and looks back in surprise. Obviously Liana was not okay with sharing a room with Stella whom she calls her biggest enemy. It was almost evening, the sun had set and she had no other option than to stay there. Stella doesn't say a word to her for the first time which Lia finds unusual. The other day Lia thinks of talking about it to the boss but later drops out the thought because she thought it would look extremely childish and not fair for her image in DEC. She continues living with Stella in the same apartment infact she used to spend most of her time outside the house and many a times also sleeping in the cubical for avoiding Stella. One day she meets Rayn on the way back home and gets to know he stays in the same building as her. For unknown reasons she has butterflies in her stomach and a creepy smile comes across her face. Ryan makes his way to the building and Lia follows him like a small kid. She returns back home with a smile on her face which disappears after seeing Stella. She goes get fresh, after coming out she checks out her room to see her dinner was served with her favorite dishes. She was a bit surprised at first and thousands of thoughts crossed her mind. First she thought Stella might have done it, but then her mind says she would never do this for her, then she thinks her mom might have accepted her decision and came here to give her a surprise but that wasn't the reason too. She finally goes to Stella and says a thank you then she says she was not the one to do it but someone left a note on the door with this parcel. She reads the note which as usual brings a smile on her face. The note goes like, "Hey Lia, I see your hustle and one day it is gonna take you to unexpected heights and you gonna achieve, just don't stop or take a break you got this! Also Rayn is cute and your blush around him is more cute. Touch-wood. Stay happy, keep smiling. I am sending some parcel of your favorite food! Yes after a long working day, you deserve this treat. Go treat yourself princess. "

Lia awkwardly kept thinking about the line "Rayn is cute" she was not understanding herself what kind of feeling was this as she never had experienced love before. She eats the food and goes back to do some work. Christmas was around the corner and she was planning to arrange a short party at home because she didn't want to go back home and spend the time arguing with her mom. She starts preparing the guest list as she had made quite good friends at DEC. And she thinks about inviting Rayn too, but hesitates a bit as he might say a no, but she finally sends him an invitation.
