"Jo? Are you even listening to me?", my father interrupted my thoughts. I didn't notice, that Nathan stopped the car.

"Hu, what?"

"I asked, if you know how to fix this damn thing.", he said frustratedly and tossed me the GPS-device.

"I'm sorry. I have like zero experience with devices like that. I can't even handle a toaster."

"I testify to that. Last time you made breakfast, you nearly burned down the kitchen.", Nathan laughed.

"That's not ... okay that's true, but I improved my skills. I can cook noodles now.", I proudly said.

"Yeah, okay we got it you really aren't able to cook, but may you now please fix the damn thing! It lost signal."

"You know what never looses signal? Paper.", Nathan pulled out a map and orientated for a moment.

"We are here and then that must be ...", he mumbled. "Okay, I know where we have to go."

We all got in the car again and Nathan began to drive towards the volcano.

After a few minutes, my father began complaining about the price for the car, because of the winch.

"You'll see. It may be useful later.", Nathan argued. And he was right. We reached an ascent, we couldn't drive, because of the mud. Nathan tied the rope to a tree behind the ascent and got back in the car. It was pulled uphill.

"See? We need it!", Nathan said. Suddenly the car was dragged to the right, because the tree was cracking. It started slipping over a cliff and fell down. Luckily the rope was still tied to the tree, but due to the sudden movement, Nathan fell out of his seat. He managed to get a hold on the back of the car.

"Nathan!", I screamed. He began pulling himself up until he reached Sam's hand. He helped him climb higher, where I held out my hand for him. He took it and I pulled him up.

"You okay, son?", my father asked.

"Yeah, yeah, I think so", he answered.

When he sat on his seat again, he switched on the winch again. Finally we reached the tree, it was tied to.

"Let's never do this again.", Sully stated.

"Nah, why not? It was quite fun hanging upside down in a fucking car?!", Sam screamed, while Nathan removed to winch to drive on.

"All right. Calm down, Sam." I said.

"Concentrate on the positive: We all survived.", Nathan supported me.

"Exactly. And this was nothing compared to the train in Himalayas."

"You are completely out of your mind."

"Hey, remember; we're doing this for you.", I reminded him.

"Yeah, you're right, but never fall down a cliff again."

Nathan laughed and started the engine.

"So with our luck: How big is the chance that the damn volcano will erupt, when we're there?", my father asked.

"Zero. It's extinct.", Sam answered.

"Yeah, it was the first thing he looked up, after he knew we would have to go to a volcano.", Nathan chuckled, as he drove uphill to an old wooden bridge.

"All right, kid, just don't drop us.", Sully said.

"Yeah, just keep it slow ... keep it in the centre.", I added. But, of course, the bridge collapsed under the car. Nathan sped up.
