'Wake up loser!' Someone shouted while banging at my bedroom door. I quickly got out of bed and unlocked my door. 'What do you want?' I asked groggily. Kristy Logan and Chase were standing in front of my door with creepy as smiles on their faces. 'Helloow Alex! We talked a little bit about you yesterday and thought like how can we cheer her up, and since it's almost Christmas we thought why not skip school and go and buy christmas gifts!' Kristy said excitedly while clapping her hands.

'Skipping school?' I asked still not progressing everything. 'Yeah I mean your mom is not home Thomas already went to his work and we'll be back we before he gets home.' Logan said with a big grin on his face. 'I guess you're right, but someone from school is gonna pick me up so I don't know.' I said still hesitating. 'You can call them off and come with us. Pleaseee Alex.' Kristy whined.

'Okay, just give me a second to get dressed, and we'll go.' I said and closed the door slowly. I grabbed my phone out of my pajama pants and texted Lex to tell him I was sick and he didn't have to stop by my house. I immediately got a text back from him:

'Are you alright? Do I have to come by and take care of you? If you are faking this, so that I don't pick you up I swear to god Gwen. Text me back fast!' 

I quickly texted back:

'I'm alright just feverish, Maria is gonna take care of me so that's not necessary. I just need bedrest. See you later. x

I quickly got changed into a decent outfit and got downstairs. They were all sitting at the dining table eating their breakfast. I got seated next to Kristy and grabbed a sandwich from the stack, and stuffed it in my mouth. We just had a friendly talk and when we were all finished we got into Logans car and drove to the mall. I took shotgun and controlled the radio to Logans dislike. 'No Tayler Swift Alex please.' He said whining. 'I'm the DJ so I decide.' I said and turned up the volume when 'I don't wanna live forever' from Tayler Swift and Zayn came on. 'OMG I love this song' Kristy screamed. We both sang along while the boys looked like they wanted to die.

'Alright we only have one day until it's Christmas so we've got to find our gifts today.' Kristy said like we were on a mission. and pulled us to the first store. 'Alex you still need to buy a gift for your mom, Thomas and Chase right?' She asked impatiently. 'Also for Logan, he's gonna celebrate Christmas with us, his parents are both away.' Chase said. 'Alright I only have to buy two gifts, and I don't know what you guys have to buy. So I suggest that Alex and Logan go together and me and Chase.

'Okay lets say we meet up in about two hours in front of the Starbucks alright?' I said and already walked to a clothing store. 'Yes alright see you soon!' Kristy said and pulled Chase's arm and ran to a store.

Logan and I entered the clothing store and were both wandering around. I wanted to buy matching ugly Christmas sweaters for my mom and Thomas and soon found the perfect pair.I quickly got to the cashier register to buy them. When I was done I looked around to find a cute dress for tomorrow. 'Do you need some help?' Logan asked standing directly behind me.

'I want a pretty dress for tomorrow to wear, but I don't know what to buy.' I said holding three dresses up that looked nice. 'Try them on. I'll give you my honest opinion.' He said pushing my to the changing room. I tried the first one on, it was a black dress with a open back and looked really pretty. 'What do you think?' I asked not being sure about the dress. Logans jaw dropped when I stepped outside the changing room and coughed. 'You look amazing. This is the dress Alex I swear, you look stunning.' He said standing up and spinning me around.
