Does she know that we bleed the same?

||

How do you know when the time is right?

There was a flash of light, and then suddenly Yoongi couldn't feel anything at all. It was as if the whole world just miraculously disappeared. There was no sound, no feeling, no thoughts, just light.

He wasn't sure what had happened. But there was a part of him that didn't want to. There was something greater inside him, that told him to stay like this. To stay in the dark abyss and not feel anything. Because it was easier to not feel anything than remember how it had been moments before.

Something about this place seemed familiar to him though, he just couldn't tell what. It was like he was little and he had just woken up in the middle of the night.

The memory of nightmares that used to plague him made a shiver run down his spine. What was that sound? There was a noise coming to his right and when he turned his head, all he could see was darkness.

It wasn't until he opened his eyes and they focused in the low light that he realized what was going on. There were too many thoughts running through his head as he stared at the person standing beside his bed.

"Jungkook?" He questioned. The small eight year old stood beside him and Yoongi watched as he shook slightly. Yoongi wasn't sure what was going on but something had bothered Jungkook enough to make him come into the eleven year olds room.

"Hyung." Jungkook said quietly. Yoongi recognized the sound of Jungkook's voice breaking and it made his heart lurch for the boy. There was definite fear in Jungkook's eyes as he held the stuffed rabbit closer to his chest.

Yoongi sat up quickly and looked around the room. It was exactly how it had been when he was younger. There was nothing out of place, besides the small little boy, visibly shaking in the emptiness.

"What is it?" Yoongi questioned, wondering why he was in the room when he should be sleeping. The thought of sleep sounded amazing to him now as it crossed his mind. There was a pulling sensation in Yoongi's heart that made him want to close his eyes and sleep for a long while.

To sleep as if he would never wake up again.

"There's someone downstairs." Jungkook whispered quietly. He reached out to grab a hold of the sleeve on Yoongi's pyjamas. He couldn't control himself as he yanked his arm back on instinct. The tears seemed to well up more as Yoongi pulled away from him.

Jungkook took a deep breath, trying not to show weakness in front of Yoongi. He didn't want to seem weak in front of his older brother. There was nothing worse than looking like a cry baby. He had tried so hard to prove that he was strong.

"It's probably nothing Kook. Go back to bed." Yoongi went to go lay down when he heard a loud crash come from downstairs. It made him sit back up immediately and he looked at Jungkook, who was now crying.

"There's someone here." Jungkook whispered quietly. Yoongi could see how terrified his little brother really was and it made him feel bad. He got out of bed and it felt as if there was a large weight on his shoulders, as if there was something trying to pull him back into bed.

Jungkook quickly reached out for Yoongi's hand and he surprisingly didn't pull away. He walked a little bit further before reaching the door and pushing it open gently. As he stepped out into the hallway he was shocked at the sight before him.

It was a park. It was their park.

He turned around quickly and Yoongi took in the sights around him. He couldn't breathe as he took in more and more of it. There was something wrong. Something was missing, like a giant piece had been lost and now he was stuck looking for it.
