Chapter 10: Xiuchen's Date

Minseok's P.O.V.

When we all decided to spend time with our lovers, I was honestly curious on what Jongdae and I would end up doing. I decided to go to my room to change into something warm because I knew that I at least wanted to go outside.

"Baozi hyung? Where are you?" Jongdae yelled.

"In our room Chennie." I yelled back. There was a knock on the door and I went to go open it.

"Baozi hyung~ are you ready to go?"

"Go where?"

"It's a surprise." Jongdae smiled.

"You won't troll me right?"

"I won't. I promise." he said laughing.

I let Jongdae take my hand and lead me to his car where we both got in and he started driving. I interlaced his free hand with mine and we kept it like that the whole car ride. After thirty minutes, Jongdae pulled into a parking lot of a garden. I looked at him with a confused face but he just smiled and gave my hand a squeeze before getting out of the car. He took my hand once I got out of the car and we roamed the garden hand in hand.

"The garden is so beautiful!" I exclaimed.

"Not as beautiful as you."

"Cheesy." I said playfully pushing his shoulder but not letting go of his hand.

"I'm only cheesy for you." he said winking.

"Even more cheesy." I replied laughing.

We continued walking around the garden until we spotted a restaurant where we went in for lunch.

"Thank you for taking me here. It's amazing." I said to Jongdae.

"Of course. You are my boyfriend and I would do anything for you."

I blushed and we ate our lunch while talking about random things. After we ate, Chen took me to a different part of the garden that I didn't notice with streams and more flowers. We walked around for hours taking pictures, enjoying the scenery, and enjoying each other's presence until the sun was setting.

Jongdae's P.O.V.

Once I saw the sun setting, I knew it was the perfect time to do it. I lead Minseok to a pavilion decorated with white lights in the middle of a meadow and a waterfall in the background. I heard Minseok gasp and I turned my head to see his hand over his mouth that was open with awe.

"J-Jongdae... how did you... when did you... why did you-" he rambled.

I chuckled and stopped his rambling with a kiss which made him blush. 'he's so cute when he blushes'  I thought.

"Minseok, I'm so happy that you became my boyfriend and stayed with me even with my trolling ways. You make me so happy just to be able to work with you, wake up next to you, and just be with you." I held his hand and pulled out a small box. "Minseok, would you take this couples ring and promise to stay with me no matter what happens in the future? Promise to stay my baozi?"

Minseok nodded with his hand over his mouth and I smiled. I took one of the two rings in the box and showed it to him. It had light blue diamonds forming a snowflake on a silver band and engraved on the inside was the words 'I love you'. I took his hand and slipped the ring onto his finger. I took the other ring that had dark blue diamonds forming lightning bolt on a diver band with the same engraving and slipped it on my own finger.

"Jongdae... it's so beautiful... thank you."

"Thank you Minseok, I might have said it before but I'll say it again. Thank you for being mine."

I pulled him in for a kiss that was full of pure love. When we pulled away, I took his hand, interlaced our fingers, and started our journey back to the dorms for dinner (only letting go to get in and out of the car).

A/N: Sorry everyone! I know I promised that I would do a bunch of updates on Christmas Eve but the more I thought about it, not a lot of people open presents on Christmas Eve so I decided to hold off until today. The updates will be coming today starting with this Xiuchen chapter. Whether you celebrate Christmas or not, have a good day and spend time with loved ones!
