Knock Knock

WONWOO'S POV
"WHO THE FUCK BULLIED MY DAUGHTER?!?!" I yelled walking into the office.

"Mr. Kim and Mr. Jeon please take a seat." The principal replied.

We both walked took the seats next a women and her husband. She looked at us with judgmental eyes.

"Thank you for being here! Mr. and Mrs. Han your son Daejeon has been bullying Yuri. But Yuri also had retaliated." The principal explained.

"What did Yuri do to get disciplinary actions?" Mingyu asked.

Mingyu was calm compared to my pissed off demeanor. Mingyu was definitely the level headed one in the relationship. But Mingyu holding my hand had calmed down to the point of not punting a kid in the face. What a wonderful man I had married.

"She has given him a black eye." The principal answered.

Mingyu and I looked at each other trying to suppress how proud we were. Not that physical violence is okay. But that she could defend herself meant that those taekwondo classes are paying off.

"What are you two smiling about my son had the daylights beaten out of him?" Mrs Han asked.

"Mina, no time to fight here, do it in court." Mr. Han replies.

"Let's just bring them in." The principal said about to call them in.

Our children walked in and were putting there heads low. All I wanted to do was give Yuri a high five. But the Han's kid gave me a identical judgmental look like his mom. Then the kid had a scared look once I glared at him. I'm still a child with a mortgage to pay.

"Look what your daughter did!" Mrs. Han got up to see her son.

"I did not know you have two dads..." Daejeon said to Yuri.

"What wrong with that!" Yuri yelled at him.

"Nothing." He replied.

"Yo Yuri inside voice." I reprimanded her.

"Anyways, let's talk about ways to resolve this issue." The principal had changed the subject.

"We are taking legal action." Mr. Han spoke.

"You're being very irrational trying to make a quick buck off of us. Don't you have enough money in your bank account? I suggest they both apologize and move on with our lives." Mingyu spoke up.

"Don't insult my husband." Mina replied.

"Listen here Mina, the door is open for you to leave." I retorted.

"Wonwoo." Mingyu said trying to calm me down.

"I suggest that all of you take sometime to talk to your children about proper behavior. But first both of the children should apologize like Mr. Kim has suggested." The principal stated.

"I'm sorry for bullying you." Daejeon apologized.

"I'm sorry I punched you." Yuri replied.

"Great, now all of you can leave!" The principal said standing up.

We all walked out the school building to our separate car. Mingyu was walking besides me while I was trying to find my keys. Yuri was trailing behind trying to come up with a game plan on what to say during our interrogation. We got in the car and started our conversation with Yuri about violence.

"You know what you did was wrong." Mingyu spoke up.

"Yes." Yuri replied.

"How did he bully you?" Mingyu asked.

"He said that I'm a suck up to the teacher and that's how I get good grades..." she spoke up.

"Why didn't you tell us??" I asked.

"I was scared that, dad would come in to the school like today and do something irrational." Yuri explained.

"That's true Wonwoo, you're very emotionally inclined." Mingyu agreed.

"Wow am I the one getting bullied now?" I asked.

"I'm sorry, I should have said something but I wanted to solve this independently." She apologized.

"What do you think Mingyu?" I asked.

"You're forgiven but, no more secrets, tell us when in your trouble." Mingyu explained.

I look at him with disbelief. I was expecting more of  disciplinary action. Wow Mingyu is such a softie.

"That's it no grounding? No taking away her electronics? Where is her punishment for beating up a kid?" I asked.

"Living with you two is punishment enough." Yuri replied.

"Ayy, watch your mouth little lady." I retorted.

"You two always show too much PDA! Last week in the grocery store we were picking up green beans and you said "I've bean thinking of you a lot." and dad replied "that has to be the corniest pick up line ever.". It's like watching a drama with you two!" She explained.

"Be Lucky, you'll never find such cool parents little Yuri!" Mingyu replied.

We got home and ate dinner. While Yuri was doing her homework Mingyu and I were cleaning up the kitchen.

"You know she gets that from you right?" Mingyu asked.

I stayed quiet to think. Okay so he could be saying this a character thing. He might be talking about my suave nature or how she inherited my wonderful personality.

"She has your emper." He said.

"Wow I just go into our room and cry now." I said pretending to be hurt.

"No matter, I love you both, even though you're annoying." Mingyu said going in for a kiss.

"I'm offended." I said.

Man I really love this doofus.

Author's note:

This is probably so unexpected. I wasn't sure if I wanted to post this chapter since I wrote this book two years ago. My writing style has changed a lot and I definitely wrote more than any of the other chapters.  I wanted to write something to help the ending since it was such a short chapter. It kind of has a different tone since I'm writing this now. But who cares about smooth reading, am I right? I hope you do like this book, thank you for all the attention it has gathered!
