"Okay, I think everythin's set up. Face-cam... Go-Pro... That's hooked up ta the wall... Perfect!" Jack grinned to himself, steadying the cameras he had hooked to his head. He'd had weirder setups. Probably.
Turning on his camera, he put on a charming smile. "Tap'a'tha mornin' to ya, laddies! My name is Jacksepticeye, and welcome to a game called 3D Island Simulator! It's a game I found at a convention and I-I don't know much about it... but I thought I'd try it out! I just gotta step through this portal. This is either gonna be badass as fuck- or it's gonna be shite." He laughed lightly.
The portal on the wall swirled inside itself, letting off a light blue glow and humming sounds. Jack stuck an arm through the portal, though quickly withdrew it. "Don't rush me!" He huffed at the camera.
Agonizingly slowly, Jack took a full step through the portal. He immediately dropped down a foot onto a beach of sand. Ocean water crashed onto the back of his shoes.
"Shit..." He groaned, steadying himself. As he stood, he looked around in amazement. A miniature city was just twenty feet away. "Whoa! Everythin's so tiny! This is friggin... weird!" He paused, staring worriedly at his camera set-up. "I relly hope this is workin."
Going on the assumption that everything was still running, Jack dragged his hands through the sand and grinned. "It feels so real!"
"Alright, time to explore tha city. 'M not sure what'ta expect... I don't think there are any objectives in this game..." Jack shrugged, standing back up. "It look's fuckin' awesome, anyway." Not wasting any more time, he made his way into the small city.
The first thing he noticed was just how real everything looked! The sidewalks had lines and cracks, there were street lamps, and little flowers and individual blades of grass. His first steps onto the concrete made it crack under his feet.
He flinched, suddenly hyper aware of his own size.
"Oh, shit... Wow, this is amazing! These graphics are--" He cut himself off with a gasp. "Are those tiny little people? NO WAY!"
No longer caring for the integrity of the road or other things around him, Jack bolted after the people. To his surprise, all of them started screaming and running away, into the tiny buildings or down streets he couldn't fit down.
Jack crashed onto his knees and tried to squeeze down a small alley where a few people hid, but he couldn't get past his shoulder. "C'maan," he groaned, brushing his fingertips across soft fabric. A tiny scream escaped the alley, though he already moved on, retracting his arm.
"Maaan!" Jack let out a melodramatic sigh, staring longingly into one of the apartment buildings.

"Okay, I've just gotta make it home, stay inside..." Annette turned a corner and hit the breaks as fast as she could. Down the block, in front of her apartment building, stood the giant her radio had been warning about non-stop.
