「 Cafe 」

"Am I that early?" Jaemin complains while his eyes wandering to every inch of the cafe, try to find any hint of his friends.

He is so nervous, tapping his fingers on the table as none of his friends come yet.

Okay maybe no.

He is so nervous to meet his dream girl, the one who he always looks from far away since he has no courage to greet the girl. But today is different. He finally can talk to the girl, asking her number and maybe take a picture with her.

All of the ideas excited him so much. He presses his lips together while pretending to scroll through his social media, didn't want to look that lonely.

"E-Excuse me, is this table 21?"

Jaemin looks up from his phone to the owner of the voice almost immediately. His eyes are glued to her face. Wonder who is that person? Yes, that person is his crush or Kwon Jinhee.

But Jaemin didn't know her name yet.

"Um, hello?"

"Oh yeah, this is table 21." Jaemin replied, smiling as wide as he can. Jinhee look at the table and a total of 8 chairs around the table.

"Are you Donghyuck's friend? Um, I mean he asked me to⏤"

"Yes yes, I'm his friend. Please sit down." Jaemin cut her off while motioning the girl to sit on the empty chair that located exactly in front of his. He plans to talk with her or maybe doing some mini ice breaking as they wait for the others to come.

Jinhee simply nods her head and sit on the chair that Jaemin point.

"I didn't know you are Donghyuck friends." Jinhee started the new conversation after observing Jaemin's tensed face for a good 10 seconds.

"Yeah. Me too."

After those words slip from Jaemin's mouth, he immediately shook his head.

"No, I mean I didn't know you are Donghyuck friends too. I thought Jisung was the one who will ask you to be here." The boy cleared himself and laughing nervously afterward. Jinhee smile, finds that Jaemin is so cute. Oh, let's not forget how her heart is beating so fast too after realizing her ex-crush is sitting with her at the moment.

Awww screw that. Maybe he is still her crush after all since she fails to move on.

"Um, can I get your number?" Jaemin asks, holding his phone tightly.

"Sure. 016"

"Okay,"

"Hmm,"

"Got it. Hm wait," Jaemin observes the number and jinhee appears as the owner of the number. Smiling, he brings his eyes to look at the girl in front of her.

"Sorry but I think I type the wrong number. This number belongs to my friend number, Jinhee." He said while tilting his head. Jinhee lifts her eyebrows, obviously confused too.

"Oh, my name is Jinhee too." Jinhee answers, not realizing the real situation yet. But soon enough, a slap of realization hit both of them and Jinhee gasp so loud.

Both of them finally connect the dots.

"YOU ARE KWON JINHEE?"

"JAEMIN, IS THAT YOUR NAME?"

"I-I Kwon Jinhee um.. Yes, Kwon Jinhee is my name." Jinhee stutter, a rush of panic run through her body.

"So.."

Jinhee's eyes slowly studying the boy in front of her, hoping that he will not say something stupid that suffocates her more than she already is.

"..you are my crush all this time, Kwon Jinhee." Jaemin shot the girl a smile, nope, it looks more to a smirk to Jinhee. No more shy Jaemin, now it is only playful Jaemin in front of her.

"Oh, let me introduce myself properly since my friend asks me to do this. Hi, I'm Jaemin. Can we be friends?" Jaemin asks as he grins, acting like he is winning over something.

Jinhee clamps her eyes shut after hearing the familiar sentence. She opens her eyes again and Jaemin shot another smile, waiting for her to answer him.

"Hm, forget that. Jinhee, do you want to be my girlfriend?"

And that's enough to interrupt her breathing.
