((Lithuania's P.O.V.))
I wasn't always colorblind..... Until the 14th century I could see colors. Beautiful reds and blues.... The green of the grass..... The lilac, magenta, and ember of the sky in the evening as the sun set on the western horizon..... The beautiful emerald color of Feliks' eyes.... But in 1410 while I was fighting Gilbert.... He hit me pretty hard in one of our many fights..... I needed stiches and color tests..... He made me color blind. Granted he didn't mean to, I still haven't told him. Hell I haven't told anyone..... Estonia and Latvia found out when they asked me to grab a rather important green book but I ended up grabbing a brown one.... Ivan found out because he finds out everything one way or another.... I should probably tell Feliks..... But how?

I felt someone shake me awake.
"Huh? Wh-what's going on?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.
"We're almost there. You should wake up now." Feliks said softly.
"Where are we going?" I asked, sitting up, noticing that we were in a boat in the middle of a lake.
"You'll see." He smiled. He wasn't going to tell me, he's too stubborn. I sighed and laid down in the boat. I looked up at the sky; judging by all of the different shades of gray, it was sunset. Where was be taking me that it required a two hour car drive and a boat ride? I felt him grab my hand.
"Need something?" I looked at him, and smiled a little.
"Yeah, if you look right there you'll see where we're going." He pointed in front of us; which was behind me. I turned to look and saw a small island. It was just big enough for a beach on one side, a few trees, and a hill leading up to a cliff on the other side.
"Pretty!" I said, turning back to him and smiling. He smiled back.
"Hey, can I ask a question real quick?" He asked
"Of course."
"Would you rather eat a pound of bricks or a matter baby?" He asked.
"What's a matter baby?" I looked at him confused.
"Nothing love, what's a matter with you?" He smirked. I cannot believe I feel for that pickup line.
"Now listen here you little shi-" I turned to face him and before I had time to react, he kissed me. I kissed back and then playfully pushed him off. Once we both sat up, he pushed me back and snickered. I laughed a little and pushed him back. We began pushing each other back and forth, forgetting we were on a small boat. I accidentally pushed him out.
"Feliks?!" I crawled over to where he was sitting a moment ago, and looked over to see if he was there. Nothing. I was a little worried. Suddenly, something grabbed my wrist and pulled me in. I swam back to the surface, Feliks was there.
"Revenge." He laughed a little.
"I deserved that."
"Only a little." He began pushing the boat to the shore. I should mention by now that he brought stuff with us to spend the night. I helped him push the boat to shore. We pulled it onto a small sand bar and tied it to a tree. We grabbed our stuff and went to the top of the hill where there was a relatively large open area. I set up a bed for us to sleep on while he started up a fire. Once we were all done, he sat in the bed next to me, and laid his head on my shoulDer. We had changed into dry clothes a while ago and now we sat in front of the fire, with a blanket around us. I looked at the fire, watching the sparks fly. Every once in a while, the wood would snap and crackle, letting an array of sparks and cinders fly free. They looked like small shooting stars going into the night sky. I looked at it closely, and began to imagine the beautiful reds and oranges of the fire. Feliks sat up quickly and the colors I saw disappeared from the fire.
"Toris. Look!" He pointed at the sky. I looked up and didn't see anything, then I noticed the shimmering shades of gray in the sky.
"The northern lights.... I don't remember ever seeing them so clear as right now...."
"This is why I took you out here, was so that you could see them and we could spend time together seeing them." He smiled. Oh how I love it when he smiles. When he smiles like that, the whole world stops to admire it. I'll admit that I zoned out watching him be happy like this. He was happy because the date he'd planned was going perfectly. As he was talking, I stopped him, pulled him close, and kissed him. I held him close as I kissed him. He kissed back, and it became more inanimate after a while. We were forced to stop our romance when the dinner he had started began to burn. I smiled and looked back up at the lights, wishing to see their true beauty once more......
