She always had many friends. Ones that cared for her, and loved her for who she was. She cared for them too, as any friend would. Yes, she had been part of groups, named and unnamed ones. But as she got older, she couldn't help but feel excluded, alone, or like an outsider.

She had even part of a group, which she loved, with six other people. Three girls and four boys, one of which she had a slight crush on. Her group liked her, and she likes them, but she still always felt like an outsider. Her friends, all had the same lunch period, with the exception of her. She had no real friends during her lunch time so she would always walk home to eat.

At first, she never thought of this as anything. Really, she was fine with watching tv while she ate her food. She would always walk home and back everyday, which added exercise to her daily schedule.

But, when her friends would tell her stories that happend on lunch, or laughed at inside jokes they had made, she started to feel like an outsider, not being a part of anything.

Even when they were as a group together, she was always kept quiet. She was slowly starting to fade away from them. She wanted to be a part of them, be a part of their discussions during lunch.

But she knew that she never would, due to being an outsider. So she kept walking home for lunch everyday, eating alone in the solitude of silence.
