I have thought of what to give you but cannot think of anything. I thought of what I could give and what I would. In the end, I could not give you anything except for this.
I did not want to buy a gift for you. I wanted to give you something that I made. I am not an artist like you. Writing is what I am best at. However, I hope that this will be enough.
Although, I act like a know-it-all, I do indeed enjoy your company. I enjoy your stories and memories. I enjoy it when we are together.
I call you puppy because of obvious reasons that you should know; I also call you puppy because I know you can be loyal.
I show my joy through our arguments and debates. You can be an idiot, but I can be too. We both can be a little eccentric at times, though that's why we click with each other. We've known each other for two years, but I look forward in getting to know you better.
Puppy.
(P.S. I decided to move your original Christmas gift as your birthday present)
