Me and my sister will be working on this story, and we'll see where it goes... I personally think its a pretty cool idea so I can't way to start writing more! Thanks for reading!!!

Prologue

"MOM! WHERE'S MY CAMERA?" I screamed up the stairs to wake my sleeping mother, who seems to move my stuff right before I need it.

"It's in the closet!" She yelled back, not too happy to have been disturbed during her nap. I rolled my eyes at her and raced to the bathroom to brush my horribly tangled hair. I'm a 19 year old girl with green eyes and red-orange hair (Yes, I'm Irish), not extremely skinny like most of the girls at school, and actually rather plain looking. I sighed and hurried out of the bathroom to grab my camera from the closet and rush out the door.

I looked at my phone, which told me I was already ten minutes late to the conference I was supposed to take pictures of for a magazine I worked for. I sighed, knowing it was just gonna be another day at the office. I didn't even know what this convention was for, but I assumed that it would just be some software company or something boring like that.

I used to dream about getting a job as a photographer for a expedition to Africa or the North Pole, but getting an adventurous job like that is extremely hard. The most I could get was a little job at a magazine nobody reads- "The Roswell Gazzette," giving updates about...pretty much nothing. Seriously, who wants to know about some random convention that I hadn't even heard of before I was given the assignment?

Oh, and yes- Roswell, New Mexico: the place where aliens supposedly crashed. I scoffed at this thought, sure that the stories were only things that the old men around here chatted about. Of course, that night changed my mind about that.
