Ashstorm wakes in his garden, the sun shining on his back. Slowly, he begins to stretch, suddenly, a shuffling scuffling sound can be heard on the other side of the fence. Slowly he gets up and investigates. When he peers through the fence however, no one is there.
"That's weird." He says to himself. "If no one was there, then why did I here a noise?" He shrugs and lays down again. As soon as he gets to where he was sleeping, the sound returns, but this time, a voice comes with iI
"Aaaaashstorm," the voice says creepily "Aaaaashstorm, they're coming for you."
"Who?" He asks "Who's coming for me?" He begins to shake out of fear, for this voice didn't seem friendly at all.
"The darkness is coming to your clan Ashstorm, the place of no-stars will rise once more and they will come for you first."
Ashstorm begins to shake once more, for he heard of the place of no-stars as a kit. Run by the ruthless Tigerstar, along with Brokenstar and Darkstripe, the Dark Forest as it was known by all the clans, waged war on the clan itself. Many a cat died that day, including Thunderclan's previous leader, Firestar. To hear that they would return again was enough to bring Ashstorm to his knees.
"W-what should I do?"
"Look for the three, destined to be one, look for those lost in the shade of the willows, only they can help you win the day." As the voice faded, Ashstorm looked around.
"What does that mean? Hello?" It was no use, he was alone again. "Hello?" He kept screaming.
"Ashstorm." The voice is distant.
"Ashstorm." It is closer now
"Ashstorm!" A sharp prod in his side
"What?" Ashstorm asks. He looks up to see Shadewhisper standing over him. A dream. It was just a dream. It was always just a dream. For six moons now, all he did was dream
"You had it again, didn't you?" Shadewhisper asks.
Ashstorm nods, still remebering that voice.
