A/N: Hi readers! :) I'm new to wattpad.. And I'm finding it hard to adjust here. So, this is my first horror novel and my third novel over all. Hope you'll enjoy reading! :) Thanks--Smile
It’s 29th of November. Almost one month to go before Christmas. The cold Christmas breeze of upcoming December is present through the air. The spirit of yuletide season is really present everywhere. Christmas lanterns are scatter throughout the streets. Every home has their Christmas trees, wrapped around by attractive blinking lights and different decorations hanging in each corners and angles. Light drops of snow are falling little by little on the cement ground.
Kevin is walking peacefully along the cheerful sight in the street, being amazed by what he sees- lights, lanterns, mistletoes, anything about Christmas. He can feel the pleasant spirit through the cold breeze. He’s heading on his way home. His little footsteps are marking on the white snowy ground. His pale face is the most noticeable trait in him. His deep blue eyes look happy, although there’s a deep emotion of loneliness beneath those eyes. His slender figure is covered by three-layered sweater. The black scarf tied around his neck is very contrast to his light-colored bonnet.
Kevin is a lame boy, often bullied by others. He never fights for himself. He is a good boy and never hates anyone in particular, even those who bullied him. He is quiet, but witty. He lacks parental love. He grew up without seeing his parents. That is the reason why he was often teased by other children when he was a boy. And now, he is a young man, he was often bullied by others and say that he is a ‘monster’ because of his weirdness.
It’s getting darker and colder. Kevin, the lame boy, rubbed his frozen hands together. He decided to have some coffee first before going home, but the coffee house is closed, so he decided to buy some groceries in one of the stores he saw while walking.
“Two cup noodles, please.” Kevin gave his money to the counter, all coins. He excuses himself politely before leaving. He even thanked the cashier upon giving him free stuffs wrapped round by brown paper bag, as an advance Christmas gift for the buyers.
“OK guys, be ready. Get your bats on. No-good Kevin is about to come.” Beside the store where Kevin is, there is a group of seven boys about seventeen years of age, same as Kevin. One of them is Scott, one of the most fearsome guys in their campus. He is the silence breaker, the promoter of brawl and quarrels. He is really a quarrelsome guy. He was even brought to the guidance office not only once but many. And also to the principal’s office, but he never behaved. He was kicked out twice in two different universities.
