"hey, wake up" a sweet familiar voice whispered in my ears.
Stretching my body, I opened my lazy eyelids who refused to let my eyes shine being exposed to the bright sunlight .

A journey of about 3 hours. It felt like a long one though.
"We are here?" I asked, trying to figure out the surrounding.

"Yeah, almost" mom said.

I took out my phone and started going through my messages.
Well I guess that's something every teenager does. You get a phone, it's your bae till you get the next one. -_-

"23 messages"

My phone highlighted a familiar name.

"Justin"

"Nonsense" I muttered.

I think I said that a bit loud as mom's attention drifted towards me, having an awfully lone talk with my mobile.

"Ahem!" She coughed ridiculously looking at the highlighted name.
"Mom....not again.its not like that" I started justifying.
"Not like what?" Mom asked as though she dint know a thing.
I just shut my phone.

Annoyed again!

"Sara, just go with him to the dance." Mom insisted.
What the bloody hell.
"Mom! How did you...?" I squeaked
"He called." Mom said in a low tone.

"Ugh."

Face palm again. This was my life wasn't it?
An annoying guy one one side asking me out indirectly and my mother's puppy face trying to convince me to fall in this shit.

"Fine ma. I'll see" I said looking out the window.

But soon, my attention was into beautiful trees, yellow sunshine, blooming flowers, clean air and happy families strolling on the side walks.
Smile. I convinced myself.

And soon we parked our car in front of a cute house called "blossoms"

An old, rather kind women came to our way.

"Sara! Mylin! She squeaked being overwhelmed with happiness.
"Granny!!!!" I hugged her hard the way I always used to.
"Come inside you guys. I've made you cherry ice creams and blueberry cakes!"

The women just knew my taste. I love her.

Hours went by.

Me listening to granny's tales about the recent activities in the neighbourhood, her eyes crumbling up each time she laughed hard.
And I told her about my plot. After I had finished she dint have a pleasant smile.

'Gran, what's it? Isn't it good?" I asked .

"No pie! It's great...But anyway let's have dinner...And u need a good sleep! You've travelled a lot! Dint ya!?" She stood up and walked away.

I just sat there wondering.

"Why did granny divert? Why dint she say anything about my plot? Isn't it good enough?"

A million questions killed me.

It tore me apart inside out.

I tried finding out.

But it didn't work. The night was peaceful.

At last, a change of dinner!
