It's late at night and it's dark inside the room. The electronic clock on the nightstand shows that it's 1:06 am. Cece's parents are sleeping. A noise as if someone opens the yard gate is heard. Cece's mother wakes up. She gets off the bed and goes towards the window. She sees the gate opened, gets closed to her husband and wakes him up.
Mother(whispers): Daddy, wakes up. He wakes up sleepily.
Father(says, keeping his eyes half opened) : What's up, darling? What happened?
Mother: I heard the gate opening. (says scared) And...I...I looked, and the gate is opened.
Father: It might have been the wind.(says sleepily and rolls on a side)
Another noise is heard from the yard.
Mother: Did you hear this?!
Cece's Father sits up.
Father: I go outside to check. (stands up) Stay here and try not to worry so much.
Mother: No! I'm coming with you!(says loudly)
Father: Don't ! (says putting a jacket on)
