IT HAD BEEN over a year since Rory ran away from the Winchester family, and after months of seeking, calling and texting the Atlas girl between cases, Dean and John finally let it go. Even though John refused to said it out loud, finding the girl wasn't his priority. Sure, he loved her as his own child, but she was twenty-five and a decent hunter; it was actually Dean the one that cared the most for the girl and wanted to find her as soon as possible. But after months of looking, he realized that she didn't want to be found and he, as his father, gave up.

By the time John disappeared too, he stop fully thinking about Rory and focused only in his father. Dean knew that finding him wasn't going to be easy, and wanted or not, he needed all the help he could get. So he went to his brother, after two years of not talking to him, Dean broke into his apartment, updating him in what had been happening and dragging him back into the family business. The murdered of Jessica — Sam's girlfriend — gave the younger Winchester another reason to join his brother in his crusade, even if he didn't want it.

Weeks had past since Sam and Dean's reunion and now they found themselves chasing a ghost. The vengeful spirit was killing curious kids who tried to prove themselves and they're annoying friends their bravery — or stupidity — by staying a whole night in the abandoned house at the end of the street. The teens that survived assured the police that the responsible of the murdered of their friends was a ghost, who according to the urban legend, haunted the house since 1895. The brothers didn't hesitate, when they found the new on the newspaper and got on their beautiful black, 67' Chevy Impala, hitting the road towards Portland, Oregon.

It was almost midnight when the brothers broke into the house. The instant they put a foot inside the building they felt a drastic change of temperature. It felt cold and send shivers down Sam's spine. Dean proceed with caution, holding his EMF tightly, going over the house's furniture and watching how the lights of the thing went crazy.

"Yup, there's definitely a bitchy ghost in here, Sammy.", Dean said out loud, smirking.

Sam rolled his eyes and Dean put the EMF in his jacket. Sam got closer to his brother, with a rifle full of cartridges of salt in his hand and a printed page of the house's urban legend.

"According to the lore, the body of the victim was hid under the wooden boards on the second floor.", read Sam out loud. "That would explain why the ghost put the corpses of the kids under the floor, just as his murderer did."

"Awesome," said Dean, pursing his lips. "Let's burn this son of a bitch and go for a burger, I'm starving, dude.", he said putting his hand in his stomach and looking at his little brother with a smile. When he realized his brother didn't find it funny he shooked his head and looked straight at the stairs.
