Eren was working on his homework, music blasting from his speakers. Finally after having enough, Mikasa had to come and tell him to turn it down. It was another night where their parents were out of the house working so they left money for pizza. Because of the raging music, Mikasa kicked Eren out of his room so he could be the one to wait to pay the pizza deliverer.

He growled a bit, and flopped on the couch before turning on the TV and channel surfing. What else could he do? He found it basically impossible to study outside of his room. Plus, his mind was racing. It had only been a day since their dare was established and Armin already had Levi as a boyfriend when Eren on the other hand could barely speak to his love interest. It ticked him off to say the least.

After he decided there was nothing to watch, he turned off the TV and surfed on his phone, getting even more ticked off when his stomach growled. The best thing about today was simply getting that revenge for Armin. He knew that revenge was stupid and that Armin didn't care one bit but, Armin was like his brother so it mattered to him.

Finally, after seeming like ages, the door bell rang. Grabbing the money off the table, he rushed to the door and open it to see that the pizza man was in fact, Jean. Of course it was Jean. He looked at Eren, just as shocked as him. Eren bit his lip and held out the money. "Thanks for the pizza."

Jean took the money and nodded, handing him the pizza in exchange. "So this is where you live, huh? Cozy . . . is Armin alright?"

Eren nodded, looking down. "Levi's taking care of him."

"That's good I guess . . ." Jean fixed his hat and started leaving. "Well, have a good night."

"Wait." Jean turned to Eren and he started speaking again. "I'm sorry with what happened with Marco. It wasn't your fault . . . I'm here if you ever want help . . . I'm not an asshole all the time you know . . ."

Jean smiled and decided to ruffle Eren's hair. "Thanks, but I probably won't need your help."

Eren frowned before smiling and watching Jean drive away. He quickly shut the door and put the pizza on the table. "Oi Mikasa! Dinner's arrived!"

After yelling up the stairs, Eren opened the box and took a slice. Mikasa came down a minute or so later and ate with him. She glanced over at Eren's red face and smirked. "Did something happen?"

"N-no."

"Your face and stuttering completely give you away. Tell me."

"Jean . . . he was the pizza man."

She smirked. "Is that all?"

"He touched my hair."

"And."

"That's it . . ."

"That's it?! He only ruffled your heaf and you're a wreck!"

"Shut up Mikasa!"

"Boys . . . you're all so emotional."

"Not all of us . . ."

"No. You're just like a girl."

Eren frowned and ate, not feeling about going against his sister. It didn't feel worth it. After finishing a couple of slices, he goes back to his room. He took the patch Levi gave him and grabbed the jacket he always wore before fumbling around to find a needle and thread. After aquiring them, he sewed the patch to his jacket.

When he finished he put the jacket on and looked at himself in a mirror, still in awe that he had the patch, the wings of freedom to be exact. All from doing something so stupid and simple . . . Somthing Eren wasn't so sure that he was proud of. But either way, he was in Levi's gang . . . Maybe he could get Jean's attention this way? Or maybe he was attracted to someone like Armin . . .
