Part 2

" Bye Marinette! Thanks again for helping me out with my homework!" I yelled from the doorframe as Marinette waved and walked down the street to her home. Grandmama allowed her to stay over for dinner, which was really nice because she also invited our next door neighbor th crazy crafty cat lady. At least I didn't have to face the akwardness alone this time. I had forgotten that they like to eat together in Friday's for dinner and then lunch on Saturday. 

Then I walked upstairs to my room claiming that I was going to bed. They seemed to buy my little fib as I carefully opened my window so I could jump out.

" Pippa, Tux on!", I cheered as the familiar fuzzy fabric surrounded my body. Since my miraculous is usually in colder climates it is lined with a very soft fur type thing that kept a me really, really warm while fighting. Looking down at the familiar white spot on my chest and belly and down to my giant orange flipper looking feet I carefully perched myself on the window sill. Then jumped off onto the next rooftop and so on looking for my partners to join me on patrol. 

I waited at the usual meeting place, tapping my foot causing the tower to rumble and shake a little. Luckily I'm used to that feeling. 

" Well, well, well someone didn't get the memo that we're supposed to dress causally." A voice purred into my ear, " Oh, hush you pesky kitten! At least I'm not the one with that little kitty collar of yours." I said turning to face Chat and flick his little bell causing a soft chime to echo. Speaking of that bell how does Chat manage to keep it quite during our fights? 

" Okay, but remember how the cops have been wanting to get some base just to help with akuma problems by keeping the citizens safe and some broadcasting system to alert everyone rather than just the news?" Chat said excitedly as he stared down at me. 

" Of course I remember kitten! What? Did they really decide to do it?!", I asked eagerly while shaking Chat by his shoulders. 

" Yes," he said as he took my hands off his shoulders, " and I'm the one they called to talk about it. They said it could be our headquarters too a place to recharge after or during attacks, clean injuries cause let's face it these suits aren't intirely indestructible, and a place to just relax a little and hang out!" Chat finished, his green cat eyes gleaming he always thought that we should get to really know one another with or without the masks. 

" Really, that's so cool! Is it done yet?!" I cheered my eyes growing huge, " You have to tell me!" I said grabbing Chats hands and bouncing a little on my toes. 

" Un-fur-tunately  no, but I told them to tell as the second it's completed." He smiled-wait- actuley smiled?! Not a smirk or a grin, that flirtaous smile, or that Cheshire Cat grin. This is definitely the first time I've every seem Chat  genuinely smile. 

" You know pussy cat; I think smiling is a much more attractive look on you. Now, let's go. Ladybug said she had a date tonight so she's not going to be coming; look's like it's just you and me." I said pointing to him and then me to infasize my point and then start leaping rooftop to rooftop. 

" H-Hey! Don't forget about me!" Chat's voice rung out loud and clear in the lovely Parisian skies which were multicolored. A soft glowing light that mingled with other particles creating a beautiful sunset. I just stopped and sat down with my giant flippers hanging over the edge of the building looking out at the wonderful sunset. 

" Wow,...sure is a beautiful one tonight, huh?"Chat whispered and slowly out of the corner of my eye I saw the black cat sit down beside me. His green glowing orbs reflecting and capturing all the mageniifect colors splashing he sky. 

" Yeah...", I breathed out barely above a whisper. Now, we could just sit and watch because we had gone over almost all of the city and no signs of any akuma's. Only a few lost dogs and cats which we turned in to the animal shelter.
