"Aw geez I don't want to go!" I yelled at my mom. Today I have to go to the doctors. Oh how I hate this day. If it was just a normal check up then it's no big deal, but this visit involves needles and I can't stand them. If you couldn't already tell I am really afraid of needles. "Sweetie you don't have a choice. You have to get this shot to prevent any disease from effecting your health. Besides your too old to be scared of those things." Mom told me sternly. I could tell she was very pissed at me. Every time I'm due for a shot this always happen. I would yell and protest against it and she would drag me there anyways. "I maybe older then I used to be, but it doesn't change the fact that I am terrified of those syringes." She grabbed all of her stuff and graves my hand. "Now come on! We don't have all day." She forced me into the car and drove off.

Here we are at the doctors office. It's so awkward in here. All the kids here are just running around while their mothers could care less of what they do and continued to go on their phone. It didn't help that I was nervous already I just can't help about the thing being jabbed into my skin while blood was leaking out of the wound. I looked over to my mom and I could tell she wasn't having the best time being over here like me. Her expressions looks like she is ready for death to come and take her. I bet she's thinking things like 'why is my child such a wuss? I can't believe I have to go with them to get a damn shot! I should be at home watching The Walking Dead or Grey's Anatomy.' (This is actually what my mom and sister does) The door soon opens and a girl with purple hair and a lot of bandages on her body calls my name. "U-um (Y-Y/N) (Y-Y/L/N)?" 'Oh sh*t that me!" I hesitate to get up until my mom says. "Hurry up and go! I'll wait here until you come back." 'Wait you're not coming with me? You're not going to help your own kid during this experience?' I sigh in defeat and walked to the door. The girl which I'm guess was a nurse here guided me to a room. "Um H-hello m-my name is M-Mikan T-Tsumiki. I-I will b-be the o-one to give you y-your vaccine t-today."
She seems nice and if I wasn't so scared I would have said "It's a pleasure to meet you.", but instead I just gave a small nod and said a weak "Ok". She started getting the equipment ready and when she finally brought out the needle I started to panic. My heart started beating faster. I have tried everything to remain calm. "I u-uh forgot t-the m-medicine. I'M SO SORRY!" She said as she started to cry. 'Why are you crying I'm the one that should be crying!' "I-it's fine..." "I-I will be r-right back with the m-medicine." She left the room and that's when I couldn't handle it no more I started breathing fast and I could feel the tears beginning to form in my eyes. 'I can't do this! I can't do this! I CAN't DO THIS!' It didn't take long for Mikan to come back. As soon as she looked at me she started to panic herself. "A-are you ok? A-are you I-in pain?" I nodded no. I can't seem to calm down enough to tell her. She was still very confused and keep asking me questions while I sat there crying. Until she asked the right one. "Are you a-afraid of n-needles?" I nodded a yes and looked into her eyes. She was silent for a moment until she spoke again. "It's ok! I-I am a very good nurse and it will o-only be one time a-alright?" I'm still nervous, but I tell her "ok". She went to get the needle and prepared it. Before she did anything she grabbed my hand and said. "Y-your going to be ok." During the whole time she wouldn't let go and kept talking to me in a sweet and calm tone and before I knew it she was already done. "(Y-Y/n) you have done a w-wonderful job and y-you are very brave!" She then pulls a band-aid out of nowhere and put it on me. "T-thank you Mikan." She smiles and gives me a hug. She leaded me out of the room. "You know we should hang out sometime Mikan." She suddenly blushed a bright red and said "R-really? I-umm O-ok!" We finally reached my mom. She thanked Mikan and dragged me back to the car. Before I left the building I waved at her and smiled. She did the same and that was the day where I first met The ultimate nurse Mikan Tsumiki also known as my girlfriend.
