Karkat x Nepeta ~~fluff one-shot!~~

Doctor's visit

      Karkat was pacing the hospital room. "Oh gog, oh gog, oh gog. She's going to die." Karkat was crying, the anguish and anxiety was finally taking over. He couldn't control himself anymore. "Sir, please have a seat." The nurse at the front desk said in a monotonous tone. "Y- You can't tell me what to do! All you are is a blemish on this small world you humans call Earth!" Karkat waved his hands dramatically at the word Earth, "how about you just shut up and let me actually do my job." The nurse retorted. The small troll boy scoffed and sat down, his arms propped up on his knees and his hands cradling his head like a mother would do to her newborn child. So many bad thoughts were swimming in his head; so many bad things to happen to Nepeta, and not the mention the doctor was a total jackass.

    The nurse at the front desk sighed, "Nepeta Leijon, correct? She in the operation room right now, she's open for a visit. I could take you to go see her." The nurse offered in a sweet tone. One thing Karkat could never understand about humans is that they would be polite to whom are quite rude to them. Humans are odd, very odd. Karkat growled in reply, he got up and the nurse moved her short, cherry red hair from her face. "Right this way," she smiled. Holy shit. She actually smiled at an alien that pretty much threatened to murder her in her sleep. Karkat followed the nurse to wherever the hell Nepeta was. He wasn't paying much attention to the objects or rooms around him. The nurse left him at Nepeta's room, "she's alone," she winked at the gray-skinned boy, "don't get any ideas." She purred. Karkat face turned into a bright red shade. What the fuck. She's a total bitch.

   Karkat walked into the room, Nepeta was staring away from Karkat going 'aaaaaa' in a fan. It made a funny sound. Karkat chuckled, and hugged Nepeta from behind. She jumped, "o-oh Karkitty! You scared me" She purred. Karkat flipped her around to look her dead in the eye, the mood went from a cheery scene to a dead serious chapter within a drama book. "Are you ok, is there anything wrong, are you going to die, how much longer do you have to live, are you go-" Nepeta burst out laughing, Karkat looked dumb-founded; how could she be so happy at a time filled with dread and sorrow. "I just had a small stomach virus! It will be gone in the morning, silly!" Nepeta chirped. Karkat pursed his lips, he really was a dumbass. A total dumbass.
