it all started late 2009.

sebastian had just turned 16, and was quite the artist.

at least, that's what he called it.

he drew pictures alone in the dark with a special little silver paint brush. sebastian used homemade canvases and organic ink. red was the only color he ever painted in.

he never did show us his paintings.

one night, he wanted to paint until he ran out of canvas and there was ink everywhere.

his paintbrush extra sharp, his workspace extra large, his ink extra red.

and that night, sebastian painted until he could paint no more.
