Ivy's POV
God it was cold out. I was freezing in a thin jacket and leggings. I mentally cursed at myself for not dressing properly.
I clicked my cars unlock button and pulled the handle. I was driving over to my friend Zoe's house, as we planed last night over the phone.
We hadn't been friends for very long because I just moved to New York a few months ago. But as soon as I met her we instantly clicked.
I smiled and continued down the highway. I jumped when my phone blast out my insanely annoying ringtone. Making a mental note to change it I slide my finger across the screen and answered it.
"Hi is this Ivy Monroe?" a girly voice questioned.
"Hello yes this is" I replied.
"Hi I am calling from Hills Medical Centre to confirm your appointment to see Dr. Hill tomarrow at 3pm."
"Oh. Um I am very sorry, I have visited Dr. Hill before but I have not scheduled an appointment for tomarrow. There must have been a mix up." I said.
"I understand. This happens all the time. Thank you for your time. Sorry about that."
She said then hung up, almost a little to quickly. Something wasn't right. I was completely confused and tired. I had places to be and did not need distractions.
I sighed in relieve as I reached Zoe's cottage. I exited the car and eagerly walked to the door, ready to tell her all about my stressful day.
