"But it is our FIRST ANNIVERSARY," giit ni Jake.
"We will stil have lots of anniversary coming," saad ni France.
"Ano ba kasing ayaw mo sa ulan?", pangungulit ng lalaki.
"Everything. Huwag ka nang makulit," iritableng sagot ng babae at ibinaba na ang phone.

Tumitig siya sa labas ng bintana. She can see how drops of rain fell over the leaves of the trees behind her house. She opened the door of the veranda. Kasama ng hanging pumapasok ang mga ala-ala ng nakaraan.
Lumabas siya sa veranda. May bubong ito kaya't hindi siya nauulanan. But she can feel the flowing water on her feet. Kahit malamig ang tubig ay hindi iniinda ni France dahil sa mainit na damdaming nagmumula sa puso niya.
