The other servants busied themselves with preparations for the newest arrival. Hans someone anxiously awaited the delicious halfing he had acquired at the Auction. He didn't make it a habit of visiting that dreadful place but rumor had spread that the Faye were auctioning off one of their own. It was a rare occurrence, one that Hans just had to witness for himself.
He had not been disappointed. Though he did not know her name, it was quite evident that the feminine Faye was a halfling. He could smell it on her. Pale, luminescent skin framed by hair the color of freshly fallen snow, Eve Montgomery was quite a sight to behold. Yes, he already knew her name. After purchasing her, Hans had done his research. He liked to know the history of any slave he purchased.
Eve was half Faye, half human. If that wasn't rare enough, Eve's mother had been one of the Siren Sisters. The Siren Sisters were a coven of bewitching Sirens who would travel to coastal regions and taunt human males with their song of seduction. They would never lay with the men, only lure then to their deaths.
That made Eve's mother a mystery. The Faye contact he had spoken with refused to name Eve's mother. All he knew was that she was forced to live as a slave to her own people, discarded when another Faye accused her of murder.
Now, Hans had never been a friend to the Faye. In fact, he harbored quite a bit of animosity towards the race. They had cause the death of both his parents. Even now, Hans could feel the raging fire of hatred burning within his chest as he though of the malicious race. It took quite a bit of self control not to throw his fist through the nearest wall.
Eve was different. She embodied, hopefully, the best of both races: Human and Faye. The second their eyes met, Hans knew. He could feel the energy radiating from her even with the magic blocking collar. She would satisfy him like no other before her. His tongue ran over his bottom lip in anticipation. She wouldn't be able to resist him. None of them ever could.
Hans was so deep in though that he never heard the knock at the front door. He only knew she'd arrived when her scent filled the large kitchen. He stood up straight, turning slowly. She stood just inside, hands clasped in front of her. Her eyes were glued to the floor. A stranger stood next to her, his hand roughly grasped around the back of Eve's neck.
Hans' silver eyes flashed causing the man to take a step back, his face contorting with fear. He grinned triumphantly, waving the man. "Your services are no longer required. I can take it from here." The man turned on his heels and promptly exited, the door slamming behind him.
They were alone. Finally.
"Eve," The word held an authoritative tone.
The frail girl's head jerked up, quite taken aback that he knew her name. The black collar still hung around her neck. It was quite an eye sore.
"You must have questions." He spoke, stepping towards her. She attempted to lower her head again. He placed a single finger beneath her chin, forcing her head up. She had to crane her back quite a distance to be able to meet his gaze. He towered over her, the top of her head reaching just below his shoulders.
"Why me?" She finally spoke, her voice quavering in fear.
He tilted his head, studying her intently. Her voice shook with fear but her eyes were bright with a burning curiosity. Her pulse was only slightly elevated. He did not smell fear on her at all. In fact, there was an all too familiar smell flowing from her; arousal.
He chuckled, "As you may have figured out, I am a halfling like yourself." His finger left her chin, drawing a straight line down towards her collar bone. He traced it lightly, "I am part Were and part Vampyr. Like a Vampyr, I require the blood of the living in order to survive." He watched her eyes widen slightly at the implication of his words, "My situation, however, is different than most Vampyr. Only the blood of other halflings can sustain me." His hand moved upwards, towards the collar, "If i am to remove this, you must promise to obey. If not, I will have to punish you. Do I make myself clear?"
He watched as she sucked in her bottom lip, biting onto it in contemplation. He nearly groaned at the sight. Finally, after agonizing seconds, she nodded her head in agreement. The second the collar slipped from the skin, Hans felt the powerful force of her magic wash over him. She seemed to stagger beneath the weight of it. If not for his quick reflexes, she would have fallen. His hands grasped her tiny waist, her fingers clutching the front of his dark suit.
When she finally was able to stand, she looked back up at him. Her eyes were cloudy with lust, her pulse skipping erratically as she struggled to reign in her arousal. His grin spread as he realized what he had just witnessed.
"They say the Siren's Song is the most potent magic a siren possesses," He whispered, the scent of her heightened arousal driving him crazy.
"How...?"
"I do my research, my pet. I know all about your heritage,"He tucked a loose strand of white behind her ear, "Perhaps even more than you." He took in the frightened look that passed across her face, the way her skin turned an even paler shade of blue, "You've never experienced the Siren's Call before, have you?"
Her cheeks turned purple, the red of embarrassment mixing with the blue hue of her skin. He felt a low growl rumble through his chest. If she'd never experienced the Siren's Call before...than it wasn't too much to assume that she had never experienced the touch of a man. She was untouched. A virgin.
"Now, that is quite interesting. I don't think I have ever come across a virgin Siren before...even a halfling." His tone of voice turned husky, his body pressing up against hers, "Tell me, Eve. How is it that a creature such as yourself has never felt the sweet caress of a man before?"
She opened her mouth to speak but he never afforded her the chance. He leaned forward, capturing her lips with fierceness he had never felt before. He felt her gasp against him but she didn't fight against him. Even as he backed her against the nearest wall, hands caressing her bare waist, she never said no.
