-Emron-

As we moved farther and farther from the place I once called home, I felt my heart ache at the departure. We made friends that we call Family now and yet, we had to leave them all behind.

I know my brother, Issac, is devastated too. In that house, we planned everything. We got enrolled into different universities and left them. That all, happened within four years. Good thing we don't age, I still look sexy as hell even at age fourty-three.

My brothers and I were born as werewolves in Northwoods, USA. Our parents raised us on loyalty, love and commitment. We are loyal to our people and our pack. That is why we refuse to just sit down and relax before killing that Elliot guy.

There are four different packs in Northwoods, USA and each differ in their characteristics and how they react to things. For example, the first pack is formed of around ten werewolves, they like to shift everyday to run around in the wild. However, they do not tend to hurt anyone. The second pack, hunts humans every night. The third pack, does none of these things however, they spend most of their days getting wasted and slutting around. That pack is what we like to call 'The Horny at all time' pack. While us, the fourth pack that is formed of my family and I, we ought to do nothing at all. We don't hook up with girls, get wasted, kill humans nor turn. Of course every werewolf turns at a full moon, but that's an exception to us. We barely even talk to our inner wolf. We act like humans most of our time, that is how we managed to fit in for the last four years.

My brothers and I believe that this mission, killing Elliot Hook, is our mission in life. However, Issac and I seem to be more committed than Calum. He can be a little clumsy and just... stupid in general. He seems to be oblivious about everything lately.

"I think I'm more experienced in road trips." I hear Issac and Calum argue, as usual, over the directions. I usually turn on the GPS on my phone to lead the way. However, Issac thinks it's stupid to use the modern technology.

"Just because you're ten years older doesn't mean you know better." Calum shakes his head, nagging like a three year old.

"Actually yes, it does mean I know better." He repeats what Calum says, stating the facts.

"Can you stop fighting like little kids? We need to be there in less than two hours. Get it moving you two." I yell at them. Calum looks away, rolling his eyes.

"Sorry, he's being a jerk again." Issac explains and I nod understandingly.

I sit beside the window in our little van that contains all our clothes and little furniture, gazing outside as the sun sets.

"I don't get why you're sad about leaving that place. It smelled like rotten eggs all the time and all the people were clingy."

I look at him, glaring, "Can you do me a favor and shut up for the rest of the trip?"

"It's not even a trip, it's a mission." He points out. I raise my eyebrow at him and he pulls out his hands in defense, sitting backwards.

I look at Issac who is distracted by the view outside. I know how much he hates doing this. Feeling like he's obliged to do something; which is killing Elliot. Our parents would have never encouraged us to do such a thing. However, our pack has a different point of view. Our parents taught us forgiveness and mercy while the pack are aggressive, always have been.

I sit beside Issac, placing my hand over his shoulder, "After this stop, we take a break for a few months. How about that?" I smile.

"How about when we reach Stanford, we actually get to know people and maybe act normal for once? How about that ?"
