***Mist's P.O.V***

I stared at Cas and Brent laughing. The two looked so adorable together. I'm the one who helped Castiel with his feelings towards Brent months ago..

The guys embraced each other, and gave each other a kiss before Cas left.

Funny how things change so much. Cas and I were really good friends, I used to like him but stopped once he told me about his feelings toward Brent. I never told him about my feelings towards him because I'm not that person who wants to complicate things .

I met Brent way before Cas though. We were tight. I even lost a life for him. He told me so many things like ,

"I've lost a lot of people and I don't want to lose you. "

"I'm promoting you to best friend for life. "

"Friends forever."

I hate this .I just want to break down. I wanted to cry right then and there.

Don't make promises you can't keep.

How did rumors ruin what we had?

How did rumors ruin my life. Brent, Cas, Sarah, and the rest all believed rumors. Now they all look at me like something that washed up.

Brent was now laughing and playing around with some friends of his. I needed to leave this place.

I looked down at my wavy reflection in the water fall. My beautiful ,big, bright , blue eyes didn't shine like they use to before . My face looked so worn out. My long, curly, reddish-brown hair was still the same .

But I don't wanna leave this place, I've been here too long to just leave .This place is like home.

Oh!

I know what I'll do.

But I have to say goodbye..

I looked at Brent again. He seemed busy but, it's not like I'll be bothering him anymore for a long time.

I forced my legs to walk me to where he was ,holding back tears that threatened to pour out. "Brent."

He turned to face me ,"Yeah?"

My vision started to blur, "I'm leaving ,at least if I come back I won't be Mist anymore," my voice started cracking due to tears ,"Goodbye Brent."

His eyes softened ,"It's your choice." He hugged me softly, and I kissed his cheek.

I pulled away and took one last look at him. I know I only told a person that doesn't really talk to me anymore goodbye ,but that's because I hope the Brent I use to know saw me. I know I left Jade without saying anything, but people have told me she hasn't come and that she probably quit.

I turned around and started walking away.

I didn't return for a few days, but I had to come back to start a new life as a different person. I opened my options and tapped my gamer tag.

Tapping my chin, I began to think.

If I'm going to start new, I should at least have a proper name.
