Why does she insist on calling me so early, " I mumbled to myself.
I looked up from my pillow and stared at my phone ringing on my nightstand until finally I reached over and grabbed my phone and looked at the familar name of my best friend.
Zoey.
" Zoe, why do you always do this to me? You know I sleep in on the weekends, " I said half asleep.
" I just love bothering you, anyways, get dressed and meet me at the coffee shoppe, I need your help, " she said.
" What could you possibly need in this moment that it couldn't wait until later, " I groaned.
" Just hurry up and get dressed, " she said before finally hanging up.
I huffed and stood up from bed and made way to my closet for some clothes.
I grabbed and put on a casual flowy white dress from my closet and put on a jean jacket and laced up my white converse.
I looked into my mirror hanging on my wall and decided to just brush out my chestnut brown curls from yesterday, leaving it looking like soft waves.
I checked myself once more in the mirror and nodded pleased.
I went to my restroom and headed towards my makeup bag. I put on a couple coats of mascara and some blush before walking out the door.
I went down the stairs of my tiny apartment complex and started walking towards our favorite place since I moved closer into the city, Gabriella's is a coffee shoppe down the street from where I live, and me and Zoey have pretty much made it our spot.
I gazed around outside and head towards the corner to Gabriella's.
I round the corner and step in to see my best friend. I walk over to her and sit down, she looked up with a grin spread across her face.
" Katie, you will not believe who invited me to their party tonight! " she exclaimed.
" Let me guess, your five year old cousin? " I said sarcastically.
" I'm serious " she said eagerly.
" Alright, alright , who invited you to their party, Zoe? " I asked.
" Liam Payne " she said almost screaming his name in the cafe.
" Okay okay calm down " I said trying to calm her down.
" How do you know this isn't some dumb prank, he never talks to you at all and could be taking advantage of you Zoe " I said.
" Kat, don't be such downer, its gonna be a great party, you're going to love it, " she said.
" Woah, who said I was going? " I said.
