c h a p t e r t h r e e
He drove and I directed him to where my apartment was. The car ride was mostly quiet until I decided to speak up.
" so you're from London huh ? " I said.
He turned his head a quick second to look at me. " How did you know ? " He said sarcastically.
I laughed. " well what brings you to New York ? London seems pretty fucking cool "
He smiled. " I just enrolled into NYU, I've actually always wanted to come to America and New York seemed like the life of the party "
" Oh yeah, we're the best and worst people you'll ever meet alright " I said.
The talking soon stopped, and silence grew. I found myself staring at him intently. He seemed so different and I liked it.
" What are you staring at, Adams ? " he said with a cheeky smile on his face.
I let out a small smile. " Your eyes " I said.
" Katie, are you drunk ? " he said.
" Shut up Styles, I just meant you have nice eyes. Don't flatter yourself " I said smiling.
He chuckled. " Is that your apartment complex? , " He asked.
I nodded and he parked in the parking lot. I got off the car and so did he.
" Why are you getting off ? " I asked.
" To make sure you get home fine, " He said.
I smiled. " Oh okay thanks " I said.
I went over to the passenger door and woke up Zoey to get up. She eventually got up still half asleep, I put her arm around my neck so I could hold her up and take her to my room.
We walked up the stairs and made our way to my apartment. Harry unlocked the door with my keys and I stepped inside.
" Well are you coming inside ? " I said.
I walked inside and made my way to Zoeys room and put her in my bed then I walked out and closed the door. I plopped down on the couch next to Harry.
" So, out of curiosity, how do you know Jonathan ? " I asked curiously.
" Oh, I just met him when I was getting enrolled, " He said.
" Oh " I said. I started to fall asleep and Harry realized that.
" Do you want me to leave now? " He asked interrupting the silence.
" Huh, oh um no " I said half awake.
He chuckled. " Okay then " he said letting a small smile show.
