*The next day Madison's POV*

I couldn't believe my own ears when Alan asked if we could count that as our first date. As I drove home I replayed the entire night out in my head. Once I got home I pulled out my computer and started writing the new column for the magazine to be turned in to my boss a few days later. As soon as I finished writing it all out I got on my blog that I had begun a couple years ago. Everything that had happened that night I wrote about. The way I felt. The way he acted. All of it. I knew my followers would love it.

Once that was finished I laid back on my bed and sighed happily. Alex curled up beside me as I crawled under my covers. It didn't take too long before I was fast asleep. All night I dreamed about Alan. It was the best night of my entire life and I hoped that there would be more to come.

*Same night Alan's POV*

I know that Maddie is a bit young for me but that's what makes her so great. She was different from most girls. I took the long way home just to give myself time to think. I thought fondly of the night we had shared. I could barely wait to have another one like it. When I got home I settled in for the night. Martha , my husky who was still a pup, curled up in her dog bed and fell asleep. I decided to stay up a little while longer.

I grabbed my laptop from my desk, put my reading glasses on and began doing a little research. I wanted to make Snape seem as much like he did in the book. After that I decided to see what was around town to do. I wanted to take Maddison on another date while I was still in town. If things went well I figured I may ask her to come and stay with me. Once I had created what I believed to be was a perfect date I decided that it was time to rest. I closed the lid on my laptop and fell asleep soon after.

The next morning I woke up around six-thirty. I couldn't wait to see Madison again. There was something about her that had me starstruck. I couldn't get her out of my head, which was fine with me. I wanted her there. I got up and ordered breakfast. Eggs, bacon and tea. There was something about those three things that just made my day brighter.

Once I had finished my breakfast I got dressed and put Martha on her leash. We went outside and walked around town. She was quick to smell anything and everything that she passed. When we got back it was almost nine o'clock. I went and took a shower and got ready for the day.

Eleven o'clock rolled around and I was going over my lines again. I heard my cell phone ring. I went over to answer it and saw that it was Madison. My heart skipped a beat and a smile came over my face.

"Hello Maddison." I answered. "Hey Alan. How'd you know it was me?" Maddison replied with a giggle. "Magic." I said and laughed. She giggled again. "What can I do for you my dear?" I asked searching for the reason of her call. "I just thought I'd call and see how you were." She said. I could almost see her smile. "I'm doing pretty good. How about you Madison." I replied. She giggled again. I loved hearing her laugh. "I'm doing good. I had a great time last night. Thanks again for all of that." She said. "I did too. Really I should be thanking you. So I have a question for you Madison." I replied. "Please call me Maddie. What's your question?" She asked. "Well after all of the fun we had last night I thought maybe we could go out again sometime soon while I'm still in town. I mean if you wanted to." I said a little nervously. I couldn't believe that I was actually nervous. I had done all sorts of crazy things in my lifetime. Why would this make me nervous? Deep down I think it's because she is such a great girl and she's different. "Really?" Maddie asked. "Are you sure you want to see me again? Don't get me wrong, I would love to go out with you again. It's just, you're famous and could have anyone you wanted but you're choosing me?" She said. I chuckled. "Well you have become quite special to me. I'll pick you up at your place in say an hour?" I suggested. "Ok sounds great! What do I need to wear?" She asked. "Anything you're comfortable in." I replied. She gave me her address and then we said our goodbyes. I went and looked up directions to her apartment. After that I went and dressed in khakis and a dark blue sweater. I got in my rental car that I had for the week, went and picked up a dozen roses and then drove to her house.

I parked and went up to her door. I paced back and forth for a moment or two trying to find the perfect thing to say. I fixed my hair and then knocked on her door. "Just a minute." I heard her call from inside. Then I heard a puppy bark. That must be Alex. I thought to myself.

A couple moments later she opened the door. She looked stunning. She was wearing a red tank top with a dark blue jean jacket. Her pants were black. She was wearing red lipstick and light blue eye shadow. She was putting in earrings that were small red roses. Her shoes were black boots that went up to her calf and had a heel on them. "Hey. You wanna come in I'm almost ready." She said with a smile. "Sure.Oh and these are for you." I said and handed her the roses. She took them and put them in a vase with water after thanking me and kissing my cheek.

I walked inside and shut the door. Little Alex ran up to me and barked. I smiled and knelt down to pet him. "Well hello there little fellow aren't you cute." I chuckled as he licked my hand. I stood up and looked around then leaned against the counter waiting patiently for Maddie. A few moments later she came out and left me breathless. She had changed her top to a light blue strapless sweetheart cut one. It showed a little bit of cleavage which I blushed when I saw. She had changed her earrings into blue raindrop shaped ones that hung down.

"You look fantastic." I managed to get out after a moment or two of staring. She just smiled and grinned. "You look pretty great yourself Al." She replied. She made sure all of the lights were off and that Alex had enough food and water then we left. We walked out to my rental car with our arms linked together. I could hardly contain my excitement. I helped her into the car then went around to the other side. Once I got into the vehicle we took off.
