The Creator smiled at Silvia and said, "I knew you'd figure it out sooner or later, but I am surprised you did it so soon. And after she tried to kill you!" He gestured to the bed questioningly.
"Help yourself," Silvia said, catching on to the implied inquiry. "What are you talking about?"
Nevarian was about to ask the same question, but held her tongue.
The Creator sighed heavily for dramatic effect. "HOW TO FUSE YOUR SOULS! The ability has always been within you, it was just buried down deep. Apparently Nev was all you needed to unlock your soul-binding skills." He turned his attention towards the chubby, brown haired girl standing awkwardly beside her friend.
"And all of her abilities are now partly yours," the Creator said, expecting a happy response from Nevarian. But for the first time in his infinite existence he experienced... surprise.
Nevar's arms were flailing around frantically, and she was ranting quickly while circling around the table in the center of the treehouse. "WHAT!!! She suffers from horrible headaches, all of which have made her collapse to the GROUND, when she catches a mere glimpse of the freaking future and now I have to suffer the same thing?"
The Creator snapped his fingers and a pile of grey rocks appeared around Nev's feet, stopping her in her tracks, and she also fell to the floor. He sighed and helped her up. "Calm down, Nevarian. The Sight and the Side-Affects are separate now. One of you will see the future, and the other will receive the pain." Before he could stop himself it was too late. The words were out. And besides, it was only a matter of time before they figured it out. "Silvia. Your newest ability can be terrifying if a case of Side-Affects are present in one of the souls you combine. Please be cautious about who you combine. There could be serious consequences if you aren't."
Nevarian almost fainted. "So I'm doomed to unbelievably painful headaches that will come at any given moment? That's just bloody fantastic, now isn't it?" She kicked the rocks away, picked up the one her foot hadn't knocked away. It was surprisingly smooth in her hand. Cold to the touch. And slightly glowing. That was strange. But she abandoned her thoughts and opened herself to her rage. She readied her arm and threw the stone at the window. When it hit the obliterated ground outside, it exploded into a cloud of brilliant white light, shining through the shattered glass. Nev raised a hand to her face, squinting. "How could you give her such a curse? How dare you let it affect me in such a way? You really crossed the line,  and I get the feeling that you did it on bloody purpose, you asswipe! Is that true? Am I right?" She took a step towards the Creator and looked him in the eye. "How dare you let us suffer without even raising one of your all-powerful hands to help. How cruel could you be? The best part is that you think I'm going to help kill your own fucking CHILDREN!!"

"There is a lot you don't know about my power, Nevarian. I can't control the Side-Affects, but I would if I could," the Creator said. He placed a hand on Nev's shoulder and stared into her eyes. "I understand that you must be scared of the pain, and I want you to know that I would never intentionally allow you to hurt. Please believe me, Nevar."

"Give me one good reason I should."

"Because it is the truth," the Creator knew that statement would'nt help very much without proof, but then again what could be used to prove he wasn't lying?

"Right..." Nevarian puffed a lock of hair out of her face and stormed out of the treehouse, slamming the door into its frame on her way out.

"You really have a way with words," Silvia whispered to her maker. "But for what it's worth, I believe you." She went over to the door and followed her friend outside.

The Creator sighed. This was going to be much harder than he had previously thought. It was hard enough trying to predict Nevarian's words (he hadn't been the one to make her so he had no idea what she was like) so he could prepare his own, but he should have predicted her attitude. After all, she does have part of Sil resting inside her. He thought he should go to Nev, but decided to give her time to cool off. In the end, he knew she would see the truth. They had to in order to save their world.
