All of the students in the class sat, chatting, waiting for the first bell to ring. Wesley leaned her arms on the back of her chair, talking to Talia, who sat directly behind her. Yuriko had not arrived yet.
"So I was thinking that after school today, we could all meet at my house after school to organize stuff for our first performance! But before that, we have to talk to seito kaichou so we can reserve the stage...do you think she hates us yet?" Wesley pondered.
Talia shrugged. "I wouldn't say she hates us. If I were her, I would admire your persistence, zura."
"I'm going to take that as a compliment..." Wesley sighed.
Amidst Talia's giggling, Wesley barely noticed Yuriko arriving to class. She dragged her chair over to Wesley's desk, and produced a small notebook covered in stickers.
"I brought my lucky lyric writing book! This little thing always helps me write lyrics to songs. I think we should try and get a grasp on the lyrics tonight, and put together the choreography some other time. If we keep going at this pace, we might even have all the basics done by the end of next week. Although, we'll need to make some time to start on our costumes...eh?! What are you two gawking at?!" Yuriko asked, startled.
Wesley and Talia stared in awe at her, with their jaws practically hitting the floor. Wesley slumped back in her chair.
"Yuriko, you're so proficient! I dunno where we would be without you..."
She waved her hand, blushing. "It's fine, it's just the way I am. I am used to this work ethic, you know."
After a bit more flattering praise from Wesley and Talia, the first bell of the day rang. Yuriko made her way back to her desk, and class began. The day proceeded as normal.

Matilda stretched her arms out, yawning. She followed Tuna behind Rosemarie, as they did every day.
"The end of the day is the most magical time, doncha think?" Matilda said lazily.
"I agree. But...hmmm, don't you think we're forgetting something?" Rosemarie said, deep in thought.
The three of them scratched their chins, but could not remember what they had forgotten to do. All of their homework was submitted, they had taken their notes for the day...what could it be? Suddenly, Tuna stood, frozen. She slowly turned her head around. She placed her hands on either side of her face, and cried out.
"We forgot to sign up for the school idol club! Now seito kaichou won't verify it as a club! It's past after school, it's hopeless!" she sobbed.
Rosemarie seemed visibly saddened, and so did Matilda. But deep down, Matilda was glad. She snickered internally and thought of how much more time she could put into skating practice.

Wesley flopped over on her plush floor, defeated. "I can't think of any good lyrics, what are we supposed to write about anyways?"
Yuriko bopped her nose gently with her finger. "Well, a lot of songs are about love, dreams, and all that good stuff."
"Ehhh? But none of us have had love experience...did anyone in μ's have love experience?" Wesley questioned.
"You relate a lot of this stuff back to μ's. I mean, they're amazing, they paved the way for school idols as we know them today. But we shouldn't take the same path as them, we should be unique and stand out. You shouldn't even dream of winning the Love Live if you blend in with the common crowd." Yuriko chastised Wesley.
