Ron X Reader

"SHIT!,......FUCK! IM LATE!" you say as you wake up checking the clock. Today was the yule ball and you didn't want to have to miss it because you were late to Snape's class and got a detention. A few guys asked you to the ball, you told them all that you'd think about it, but you just last night decided to tell fred yes later on today. you quickly got ready, and ran to Snape's class, bumping into almost everyone. when you got to Snape's class you made it just in time because Snape was late himself. all you could think about that day was the dance, and you hoped your crush ronald Weasley would ask you, but he probably already has a date, and even if he didn't why would he ask you. you knew ron would never ask you, you to barely knew each other, but fred and george are your best friends so going with fred wasn't going to be that bad, you thought. you were always jealous of hermione, perfect grades, always on time, and she was the girl ron liked. fred and george knew about your crush on their brother, and couldn't stop laughing after you told them. fred always liked you, but you never liked him like that, he was your best friend. you finally got through the day without any detention, it's your first day without detention, same for fred. the ball started at 8 so you started getting ready at 7. you weren't the kind of person to wear a bunch of makeup, but you did have to brush you hair, and teeth, of course. when you walked down the stairs to the ball room you heard ron say something, but you didn't know what
"bloody hell, she beautiful, who's she with?" ron said to his twin brothers
"that ron, would be me" fred said proudly pointing to himself walking over to you
"alright, my beautiful date, shall we go" he says holding out his arm and you take it and walk into the ball room and you say
"we shall"
you and fred get into the ball room and he pulls you aside
"alright you know when you were walking down the stairs, ron said you were beautiful, you should go ask him to dance, i know you just want to be friends, and ron doesn't have a date so, go do it" fred says kinda disappointed
"i just can't freddie, im way to nervous to even say hi to him, i cant ask him to dance" you say holding Fred's hands looking back at ron, who was sitting, all by himself
"if you wont, i'll do it for you" fred says letting go of your hands running over to ron
"look ron, she really likes you" fred says to ron and you run up to the stairs, crying, why'd fred do that? ugh now everyone knows that you have a crush on ron weasley, ugh you hate fred you thought to yourself. you saw ron walking out of the ball room, you hide your face in your hands hoping he wouldn't know it was you
"um hey (y/n), we need to talk" ron says, sitting by you
"ron, i know what your going to say, you just wanna be friends, and don't like me like that and i get it, i swear i am gonna kill your brother later" you said, removing your hands from your face as ron looks into your eyes
"no, you didn't know what i was going to say, because i was going to say, that i really like you and wanted to know if you would like to dance?" ron says, grabbing one of your hands
"i'd love to" you say standing up, wiping the tears off your face, dragging ron to the dance floor. you two dance until filch kicks you two along with neville and ginny out
"(y/n) (l/n) will you be my girlfriend?" ron asked as you two got into the Gryffindor common room
"of course i will ronald weasley" you say back as you feel a warm pair of lips on yours it took a moment for you to realize your crush ronald weasley was kissing you, you kiss back then hear one of you and ron's best friends harry potter yell to ron
"YEAH RON WOOO! GET SOME!" you don't pull away but you do flip harry off he laughs, so does ron
"i hope you know i still have to kill your brother" you say to ron after you pull away
"oh but why is that love, i did get you two together didn't i?" fred said to you and ron and you say back
"because i swore that i would" you said as you started chasing fred all around the common room then when you catch him you knee him in the nuts and slap him on his face
