Prologue
It comes in 3 stages:
First. The body's immune system fails.
Second. The muscular-skeletal system declines, movement becomes nearly impossible, followed by a permanent state of painful immobility.
Third, the brain dies.
Like clockwork, death follows the same painful course of the virus. An unstoppable condition, until Cora Edwards defied the course of the illness...she reawakened.
