The Ghoul Boy: Indra

Day 30

It was Day 30, Indra and Lille were on the road to another city. Lille grown close to Indra as he was her master after all, she always heal him after battles and such. While on the road they had to take breaks and they would stay at hotels, that was the other 15 days they were spending while on the road. While on the road Indra picked up some new techniques and Lille learned some new healing skills also to defend herself when she needs to. "Hey Indra, you know I've been thinking... Why don't you ever look at me? I mean in a friend way." Indra turned and looked at her for a few then sighed. "I don't know. It just happens sometimes." He said as it actually happens all the time. Though now that he thinks of it, why doesn't he look at Lille. Now only time could tell what would happen. Indra kept walking and heard a noise. "Lille, front of me, now." He demand as she did get in front of him. The noise that he was hearing was a car that was driving by. 'Quick, I got to think of something.' He thought before he looked at some bushes and nodded. He pushed Lille into the bush and joined her soon after. They looked through the bush and the car drove by quickly. Indra sighed and looked at Lille. "You okay? Sorry that I pushed you, completely forgot that we're in a  new community where there are other type of species than yours and mine." Indra being a ghoul and Lille being a human. "Hm.. I'm going to have to be smarter now. Since you are human, I bet they sense your smell from a mile or few ago..." He said as now he started to think of what he could do about this. 'What could I do to protect her? Give her one of my shirts to hide her scent or what?' He thought to himself as he looked around, he sighed in relief and got up. "Alright, get one of my shirts and put it on. It'll keep your scent away and it'll be my scent instead." He said as he looked away to not watch her change her shirt to his. Once she was done, she looked up at him. "What do you think we should do next?" She asked him and he shrugged. "We keep walking or something blesses us with a vehicle or something." He said as he started to walk again and she followed him. As he said that a car was there on the side of the road with the keys in ignition. "How the fuc..." He said before he was interupted by Lille. "Hey, at least it's a car, right?" She said looking at him. He sighed and nodded. "Just get in and lets go." He said as they both got in and he started the car. Soon they drove away from where they were to the next city.
