Chapter One {Hala Ardvolour}

I cracked my eyed and glanced at the clock on my wall 5:32 am twenty eight minuets to get ready or I'll miss the counting and if that happens the consequences will be severe. With that though in my head I heaved myself off the bed and swung my legs out and placed my feet on the floor. Yawning I shuffled out of my room and into the circular living area where my mom,dad,and brother are all sitting down completely dressed at the kitchen table. "Good Morning Analim, better hurry up or you'll suffer the consequences!" well actually we all would but that something about my dad, he could twist any bad situation where he's at risk and make it seem like your the only one in paril. Its one of the things that i love to hate about him. Without responding I walked into the small rectangular bathroom on the other side of the living area. I brushed my Teeth and did my long blonde hair in its usual style. After that was done I went back to my room to put on my uniform it was a black body suit was two vertical lines in my color on the sides and then had another one parell to my waist.

5:43 the transporter will be here in seven minuets. In the kitchen my mom had what was left of the breakfast out for me to eat. I had eaten three sausages when we heard the rumbling. The transporter was here. "Go Analim or you'll miss it!"

I climbed the medal stair case up to the surface, and saw the transporter stopped at the house next to mine. Some new family had just moved in there yesterday, this would be their first day at our school. I have no idea who lives there or how many kids they have but I'll find out today assembly I guess.

The transporter, a giant, grey, medal, war car pulled up in front of me and the driver kicked the door open.

I stepped inside and walked over to my usual seat. It was still empty but I saved spots on it for my best friends, Geena, Jewel, and Jayleean.

The transporter stopped five houses later at jewels house. Her color was medium blue and had three blue lines drawn coming out of the sides of her eyes. Her brown hair was done in a French braid. she goes to school with her next brother, Clayor, he's the same age and her 13 yr old sister named Aorsia. She also has four other siblings two are too young and two have already graduated. Next, he picked up Geena and her brother, her color was orange her hair black in a high pony tail and her markings were a series of dots going down from her eyes all the way down her sunken cheeks. Lastly he pick up Jayleean who has three other siblings with her.Her color was black, the sign of the shadows her dark brown hair was up in a bun and a black lines curved down from the sides of her eyes and stop at her cheek bones at the end of the two lines is a ball.

Silently we sit and we wait and then we pull up in front of a large concrete building heavily protected and surrounded with troops and barbed wire.

"Bus number 12 has arrived." the guard says clearly into his walkie talkie he was only about 18. He was recruited as a guard moments after he graduated school, he was the bus checker, the one who made sure every bus that left came back and that every bus that arrives is athourised to.

He was quite attractive actually with his blonde hair, brown eyes, and orange markings. I looked at him as he checked the drivers I.D. And pressed the bottom opening the gate to let us into the school.

The transporter rattled as we crossed over the five speed bumps that were set up after the gate, until we turned the corner into the front courtyard of the school. Our school was number one in survival training without weapons Mostly because every every month on Monday we have S.R.M. (survival review missions).

Each student in the S.R.M.s is put into sort of an Obstacal course that tests your speed, ability to solve obstacles, agility, balance, and hand-to- hand combat. And every month the course changes. It's extremely challenging, the record time for beating it is 5 minutes and 2 seconds.
