Day two

I wake up to the alarm clock beeping, I shoot up and turn it off, looking at my surroundings. Light poured in from the French windows, lighting up the dull room. The air smelled like cinnamon, the smell was delicious. My stomach grumbles and I brushed my hair out of my face, putting it in a pony tail. I got up from the bed, stretching my arms as I get up. My raccoon pajama pants slipped off my waist, the pants were loose on me, making them slip off my waist. I pulled them back up, groaning at how annoying they were. I walked out of the dull room into the long corridor, studying the art on the walls as I walked to the steps.  The steps were old wood, they were quite unique. I walked down the steps, making a creaking noise as I went. The living room was beautiful, there lay an old gorgeous flower sofa, a dark table sat in front of it, creating an old aura. I smiled as I saw a note on the table reading: dear Alana, we have gone to church, you seemed too tired to come with us, if you need anything, the neighbor boy, Avery, seemed excited to meet you, he said that he would stay home if you needed anything.
                                     Love,
                                 Margaret
I sighed and walked into the kitchen, my stomach growled again as I opened the fridge. I wasn't comfortable at taking food from them but I was really hungry, so I grabbed a banana. I ate the banana while looking in the kitchen window over at the other house. I assumed it must've been where the neighbor boy lived because it was the only house around for miles and Margaret said "neighbor boy". I sighed as I finished the banana. I was a mess and I really wanted a bath. I shrugged. Screw it. I walk up the stairs into that same long corridor and walk to each door, peeping in trying to find the bathroom. I opened three doors, none of which was the bathroom. There was one door I hadn't opened. Aha that must be the bathroom. I open the door and sure enough, it was the bathroom. There was a short table beside the sink with a towel and shampoo. I went closer up to it, noticing a whole outfit and a note. Huh, this is confusing, eh they must've wanted or expected me to get a bath. I sigh and slip off my pants and my shirt, leaving myself in my undergarments. I look over myself in the mirror to see if the bruises were still there. Looks like they're gone, I can finally wear shorts and short sleeved shirts. I unhook my bra and let it drop to the floor. I sighed once again and slip off my underwear. Leaving myself naked in the bathroom. I reach down to the bath faucet and turn it on, waiting for the water to be the right temperature before I got in. After about five minutes it was just right. I stepped in and slid to where I was laying on my back in the lukewarm water. Before I knew it the bath water was up to my chin, I instantly reach out and turned off the faucet, relaxing in the water. I closed my eyes, hearing the faucet drip and the birds outside chirp cheerfully. After what seemed like a long time I hear the front door open and someone walk in. I shoot my eyes open and grab the towel as I get up. I wrap the towel around my slim body and grab the clothes, leaving the unread note fall to the ground. I hurry up and dry myself off and put the clothes on. There was a tank top, a crop top and skinny jeans. Why in the world do they want me to wear a crop top, oh well, they probably think it's what in and what teenagers are interested in. I looked at myself in the mirror and smiled. "He...hello?" I hear a male voice call. I gasp and walk out of the bathroom. "Yes?" I call back. "Ahh, erm, its Avery, I just came to see if you needed anything." He kindly spoke. "Oh well, hello and I don't really need anything I guess." I replied. "Oh, well, if you don't mind I'm going to stay here for a while, I don't want anything to happen to you since Margaret and bill let me in charge." He exclaimed. Deep down I thought that he wasn't really in charge and that he wanted to stay because of me, eh I doubt that, we just met. "Oh no, I don't mind, I actually started to get lonely anyway." My voice sounding cheerful. I walked down the corridor and halfway down the stairs. I look around the living room from the stairs and find him sitting down with his eyes closed. I smile and assume that he's tired. I decide to be kind. I walk back upstairs and grab a pillow and another blanket from my room. I carry both downstairs and walk up to him "lift your head please." I ask shyly. He lifts his head and I quickly place the pillow where his head was and cover him with the blanket. He kept his eyes closed the whole time. "Alright you can put your head down." He put his head down and groaned a thank you. I nod and sit on the recliner a ways from the sofa, also covered in a blanket tired from staying up last night. He murmured some stuff and I then felt a hand on me. I shoot open my eyes and find his hand on my shoulder and his mouth open like he was about to say something "sorry if I scared you but, you can come join me on the sofa if you want, it's more comfortable than the recliner." He kindly stated. "Oh okay, sure." I say, getting up and sitting on the sofa. As he walked over to the sofa and flopped down I slid a little close to him, considering the fact that he was bigger and he weighed more, he tipped me towards him, making it awkward. I leaned the other way and laid my head on the arm of the chair, curling up and closing my eyes. I am aware of my surroundings and the noises. About five minutes pass and I hear his snoring, I assume he fell asleep so I drift off into the dream world as well.
