I woke up in the morning with the loud shrill of my alarm clock. I groaned and switched it off. I was definitely not looking forward to waking up this morning because it's my first day at Hillcrest high school. As much as I ddnt want to get up from my comfy queen sized bed, I definitely ddnt want to be late for school mostly because of the kind of person I am, I am shy and don't like unnecessary attention and being late on my first day would definitely cause that so I peeled my spongebob squarepants blanket off my body and scrambled out of bed.
You might call me a kid but I love the show.
I got out of my pajamas consisting of a tank top and bottoms. I rushed into the bathroom, took a bath with my favourite vanilla and strawberry shampoo, scrubbing each and every part of my body thoroughly because I really wanted to make a good impression on my first day and I wanted to smell and dress good.
I came out of the bathroom and went into my glorious walk-in closet. I call it that cause it's huge. My parents jobs really pay off, my mum is a fashion designer and my dad is a lawyer and they are stinking rich, so make up for the times when they are not around, they buy lots of things for my brother Tyler and I.Tyler gets cars, video games and lots of things while I being the girl get clothes, shoes, jewelleries, books, cars and stuff.
I love books, I am a straight A student but am not a nerd.
I settled for a pink crop top and a high waisted blue jeans with a black scarf, black heels and a black bag. I still dress well even though I am shy, I still try to impress myself...ok mostly my mum.
"Lia'! Come down now, breakfast is ready" my mum called from downstairs.
"coming mum" I replied. So I rushed down the stairs to eat breakfast with my family.
"morning mum" I greeted her and pecked her on the cheek. Even though she's not always at home, we share a very good relationship.
I helped her set the table and all.
"go and call your brother upstairs, I wonder what's keeping him" she said looking in the direction of his room
"kay" I replied and went to my brother's room to call him.
"hey Ty" I called, knocking on his door. He opened the door and greeted me "morning sis". He was getting ready for school also.
"breakfast is ready so get your butt downstairs"
"I knew you were a creep but I didnt know you stare at my butt also" he said fake gasping
"you wish" I said, rolling my eyes
"yeah,yeah, whatever helps you sleep creep" "see what I did there?" "sleep creep"
"hahaha, you think you are so funny, let's just go" I said rolling my eyes
"Owkay" he said rubbing my head with his hand and roughing my hair in the process
"hey" I shouted hitting his hand and setting my hair with my hands. He just poked his tongue out at me.
The perks of having a playful brother I thought, shaking my head.
We went to the dining and sat down. Dad came out of his study with a newspaper in hand and also sat down.
"morning pops" Ty and I chirped, as in we actually chirped. Sigh...
"morning kiddos" he replied back
"morning James " mom greeted him and pecked his cheek while serving our breakfast of pancakes and syrup with milk
"morning Lizzy" he replied
We all ate our food with happiness in the air. I guess you can call us a happy family plus we resemble each other very much.
I am the younger version of my mum having jet black waist length hair but her's is shorter, I have her body shape except having my dad's blue eyes while her's is green which my brother has.
Ty is also the younger version of dad with built body, sculpted abs and blonde but longer hair.
After breakfast, we cleaned up and we started going to school, by we, I mean Ty and I. We attend the same school but he's a senior.
"have a great day kiddos" dad said
"you too parents" we replied and pecked their cheeks.
We went to the garage and drove to school in Tyler's black Ford.
It's gonna be a looong day....
