The icy liquid sliced through the sweatshirt as I followed in my fellow abuse-ees path. The water filled my lungs as I descended further and further into the void. My eyes were burning as I fought to keep them open. I wasn't going to give in. I wasn't going to let them get away with this. I knew that if by some weirdo reason I survived I would do everything in my power to bring Boss to justice.

I could hear another engine revving in the distance. What was going on? Different possibilities rushed through my mind as a slight glimmer of hope shined in the distance. If only I could get my hands on to the hope, I might be able to break free of the great uncaring life I had made for myself. I could feel again. I knew that I would be thrown into a pit of sorrow and dread, but that storm would have sunshine on the other side. The warmth would surround me and embrace me into a blanket of happiness and joy that would be the counter part to the pain and misery I had felt before the golden tendrils of the floating ball of gas took me in.

The engine got closer and the noise got louder. Closer, still, came the motor. My ears started ringing and I could see the world start to go dark. I guess everything I had ever learned about religion was a lie. There was no afterlife. Just a dark pit of forever. My eyes would never open. The sun would fade away as I fell, if I were to die.

It got louder and my ears sounded like a million fire alarms going off at once. I knew that I could not take any more if it continued in its trend. As the pain in my ears increased to its climax, the noise stopped.

All of the sudden, darkness.
