It was a new year. Not only that, but freshman year! I walked across the lawn of Wellsmont high school, then stopped at the front door looking for my best friends Jackie and Shawna. Going into the strange school with out them wasn't even an option. We've been friends since the second grade. When I saw Jackie I ran up to her and screamed. "Were in high school!" Must you yell a groggy voice said behind me, it was Shawna. "yes I do" I yelled again. We all walked into the doors that held the next four years of my life.
Inside was like an aquarium, full of exotic fish. We said our good bye's and told each other where we would met at lunch. My first class was English room 110. I pondered the hall to make sure i was in the right place. After a five minutes of room searching I found room 110. Luckily the teacher wasn't in class yet. An old woman about 70 years or so, with white gray hair walked in. "I'm Mrs. Apricot"said in a soft voice. Then she layed out a couple books. I recognized one or two of them like Romeo and Juliet and The GreatGatspy. "We'll be reading these books for the year" she said proudly.
For the rest of the period she just talked about high school and how nothing tolerated here and bla bla bla. That pretty much sum's up the day leading up to lunch. I met Shawna and Jackie at a big shady tree by the side of the school. "Nichol" yelled Jackie "over here". "Hey guys how was it"? I asked where you as scared as I was. "We didn't start crying in the corner of the class room if that's what you mean."Shawna always makes snug comments like that. "I WASN'T CRYING! We'll not in the corner." I started to chuckle at my lame comeback. "Nic that was stupid." Jackie said.
We always have meaningless conversations like that. "Anyways mine was epic!" Jackie said getting of the ground. "There was so many cute boy's in my class!"Jackie tinks everyone who's male is cute. We sat and talked for a while then made plans for a sleepover on Friday. The bell rang and we went back to our classes.
My last class of the day was Gym. All I can say is I've never ran so hard and long in my life.
The bell rang finally and I got my stuff and left for the bus. As I walked out I noticed the bus was leaving! "STOP!" I shouted. I don't know why I even bothered, with my luck I wouldn't be surprised if the ground beneath me exploded. I guess I'm walking home, witch was two miles away.
After my long walk home I jump on my bad and feel fast asleep.
