I tried to swim, but I couldn't.
I flailed my arms and legs around but nothing happened.
Everything faded.
"Goodbye cruel world..." I sighed, sinking down into the sand.
That's when I was lifted out of the water by a human! "Are you a fishermen?" I asked, coughing up water.
"Are you okay?" He asked, worriedly running through the water going towards land.
"I don't know what happened..." I said, looking down and wiggling my toes and fingers.
He layed me down in the sand.
His face was dreamy...he was tan and muscular and had blond hair.
Ew what! Why would you think a human was cute?! Well...I guess I'm human now...teehee!
"What's your name?" He asked.
Oh no! Humans have names?! What's a human name? What's a human name?
I bit my lip.
"Okay, it's fine don't tell me. But my name is Haku." He said.
"My name is...Kala." I said.
That sounds good, right?
"Kala, huh?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Teach my your human ways..." I whispered evily as he walked over to his towel layed out on the beach.
"What?" He asked.
"Nothing. Just thanks for saving me." I smiled.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked.
"Positive." I said, walking over and sitting by him.
"What's this?" I asked looking at some type of board. "You mean my surfboard?" He asked.
"Yeah, your surfboard." I said.
"Uh..are you from around here?" He asked.
"Noooo, I'm from over there!" I said, pointing out to the ocean.
"Do you live here in hawaii or...?" He asked.
"Hawaii..." I repeated.
It sounds so pretty...
"Show me what you do on a surfboard." I said.
"Alright." He said, picking the surfboard up and walking into the ocean a bit.
He layed on his stomach on the board and paddle with his hands to the waves.
Then he stood up on the board using his hands to keep him balanced.
The surfboard glided along the wave.
"Wooohooo!!" I cheered.
I can't wait to see what else human life is like...
